Was struggling getting my bottle-fed kitten to start eating more solid foods. I had tried different brands, but either she wouldn’t eat them or she’d get sick after eating, and she wasn’t growing like she should have been. With this, however, she’s been able to eat it without getting sick, and since switching to this brand, she’s grown tremendously and has become so playful and full of energy. I’ve put the wet food out for her to eat, as well as a little of the dry food (same kind) for her to nibble on through the day, and this seems to work very well for my kitten, and I’ve been able to finally ween her off the bottle without fear of her losing nutrition.

My foster kittens enjoyed this wet food. The texture is pate, so it's soft and smooth with no gravy. It's on the thicker side, so I add a little water to make it easier for younger kittens to eat it. It doesn't have a super strong smell, but it's stinky enough that the cats enjoy it. I also like that chicken is the first ingredient. None of my kittens had any issues with this wet food. And I've never had problems with the quality of the cans. It's also affordable compared to other brands. I'd buy again!

We’ve tried some other brands of kitten pate but the blue buffalo outshines them all! No bad side effects like diarrhea. The consistency is a bit more dense than other kitten pate (which is fine) but it doesn’t smell like the others! I split one can between 2 kittens, 2 times a day, so the portion size works well, but they also have dry food available. Highly recommended!!

This food is great; however, I have lately noticed that the texture has changed in the cans that I order from Amazon. The texture used to be more 'loose' but is now very solid. I now have to mash it up and add a lot of water to achieve the consistency that I used to get right out of the can. I now order from PetSmart......the consistency is equivalent to that which Amazon orders used to have. I'm not sure why there has been a change. Very disappointing since I used to order using Subscribe and Save with Amazon....no more.

My kitten loves it and he is growing well either it. I use it in combination with the dry food of the same brands.
