A Wonderful Fragrance.
If you like a strongly scented sandalwood after-shower powder, this is the one to get. I like it a lot. Equally important, my wife likes it (on me).

Delicate Unisex Scent
I've loved this brand of Sandalwood soaps, for years, so I'm very happy to have the powder, too. The scent is genuine and delicate and flatters all. It's not a sweet, artificial scent and I get a lot of compliments from people wondering if I am wearing a perfume, soap or hair product.

Talcum powder
Happy with quality of product and value. Shipped wrapped in plastic bag - which was good because seal on cover popped and talc was all over the container and inside plastic bag.

Refreshing !
As wonderful as the, Mysore Sandal Talc powder is the securing tape for shipping leaves a lot to be desired. In order to remove the tape the entire front and back label came with it.

Generous amount of talc powder
I love the talc in this powder, however, the fragrance is very overpowering to me. Maybe it’s because it came from India and is a cultural thing to have heavily scented products.

Sandal powder
Beautifully scented and a large amount of powder at a nice price. I like to dust my sheets with it for a really pleasant sleep and I'm perfumes lightly for the rest of the day.

Soft and silky with a pleasant scent
Wonderful stuff. This is real talc. It feels good. It is lightly scented and smells good. I will be ordering it again.

NOT a Good Match for the Soap (Seller keeps down-voting this negative review, so beware)
I ordered the Mysore Sandal soap and really liked it. It has a very nice fragrance in the bath although it does not scent the skin for long afterward. Since I liked the soap, and since there were so many positive reviews of the talc, I ordered the three pack from this seller. They arrived pretty quickly and in good condition, but they were already a couple of years old---not good. Items should be fresh. In any case, after using the talc for a few weeks, I can say in all fairness that I am not impressed with it. Firstly, the talc's scent is not a good match for the soap (as some reviewers correctly observed before me). Secondly, it feels quite rough against my skin compared to other bath powders I have used, e.g. Shower to Shower which is very soft and very dry and silky. This powder does not give me the "dry" feeling that other powders do. As for it smelling like sandalwood...well, I suppose there is some resemblance, but it is not a strong resemblance. I admit, I am comparing this relatively inexpensive scent to the sublime sandalwood in vintage Guerlain Samsara, which costs considerably more. However, I would be willing to pay considerably more for a better sandalwood scent in a talc. Some reviewers have complained about the single hole through which the powder pours. Honestly, I find no great difference between it and bottles that use multiple holes, e.g. Shower to Shower and similar. The powder pours into your hand as much as you wish. I apply it by putting the talc in one hand first, then dumping it into the other hand. What is left on the first hand I apply to my skin. I repeat this process over and over until I have finished. It works fine for me. For those who do not like this method, they can always transfer the powder to an old fashioned powder jar/box and use a powder puff. The reason I hesitate to do this is because I think the plastic bottles will preserve the fragrance better than most powder jars/boxes which are much less air tight. In conclusion, this is not a "bad" product, but it is not such a good product that I ever would repurchase it. Unfortunately, I have three bottles of it to use up, which is the biggest drawback of all. Now, I wish I had purchased the one bottle fulfilled by Amazon. It was a bit more expensive, but given my feelings about this talc, in the end it would have been cheaper to spend a little more on one bottle than to "save money" by buying a three pack. I am sure there are many people who will like this talc more than I do, so I do not discourage anyone from giving it a try; however, buy one bottle first to discover whether or not you would like to use it regularly. Fragrance: 2 out of 5 Silkiness: 0 out of 5 Good match to the soap: 1 out of 5. Edited 03 October 17: I have worn this talc during the day without incident; however, one night I wore it to bed. I applied it all along my arms, etc. Within minutes of snuggling down in bed, my face began to burn like mad. I went to the bathroom and saw that it had become swollen, red, and itchy. There is obviously some ingredient in the talc that must be kept a way from my face. It does not seem to bother the rest of my body. Beware if you have allergies.
