I needed a propeller for my Jeep's "Yellow Submarine" theme. I am very happy with my propeller hitch cover. It looks great! I have no problems traveling at highway speeds. I haven't broke it yet and plan to remove it when I go off road. I for one am happy it is plastic because it doesn't add extra weight. Update: I purchased some plastic safe spray lubricant and gave my propeller a couple of sprays where things come together. Now it will spin smothly and quietly even parked with a small breeze. This greatly imporved the performance and made it very quiet all at the same time. Have had it on the back of my Jeep for several months now and it just keeps spinning.

Needless to say, I'm on my third Pilot Propeller hitch cover. The cover is shiny chrome and looks great on your vehicle but it is PLASTIC and will not survive an automatic carwash. So, remember to take it off before going in. It would be a better item if it were stainless steel or made from a light weight metal. I gave it five stars because it looks really cool on my SUV. A young kid asked me if my car went into the water....hilarious. Easy on easy off...don't forget!!

Cool product and looks good. It is plastic so don’t drive it through a car wash, it will snap off! I know, I did it to my first one. Good thing they’re not expensive.

I had one of these before but a thief tried to steal it and broke off several blades. If you decide to purchase one buy a locking kit so no one can remove it without the key. It spins like crazy when driving on the freeway.

This is a perfect replacement for the previous one I had purchased from a local dealer. Long lasting and impressive.

This propeller is made completely of plastic and does not include a pin to hold it in the receiver. It looks nice and spins well when you hit 50+ MPH. I owned it for about 6 months before it broke (which was the result of taking the truck through the car wash). You should either plan on taking it off before going through car washes, or spend a little extra on a better one. Now that mine has broken, I'll be looking for one that's more durable.

This thing is so darned cute, and my husband loves it! While I would happily have paid substantially more for a metal prop that might have a higher likelihood of lasting (they don't seem to exist), this is a fun toy with the material and quality expected of such, and priced accordingly. I have high hopes it will last at least a year (he plans on removing it when running the truck thru a car wash). The company sent the product quickly (there were no glitches whatsoever in ordering). Pleased all the way around.

I was excited to receive this product after the seemingly decent reviews. It was fairly easy to install but fair warning, aside from the screws everything is plastic and it feels cheap. I had it on my jeep for about a month before it was ripped off by the wind on a pretty windy afternoon. Very disappointed and will not purchase again. I do not recommend to others. The whole purpose is for this to spin in the wind and not get ripped off in the wind. I traveled only 30 miles and it was gone.

40kmから高速回転してます。 高速道路ではプロペラの振動がフレームを伝わり車内に響き渡ります。 私はグリスを注入して振動を抑えてます。 プラスチックで出来てるのでいつ壊れてもおかしくない。
