This JOY entrance mat was perfect uplift to welcome family and friends during the holidays. The Mackenzie-Childs quality is always top notch and the coir is heavy weight so stays put. I cleaned easily with a garden blower. I was delighted to get a special price deal and will be storing for future years.

Does not hold up! Not intended for porch or outside use. False advertisement.
Very attractive when you first receive it, but not meant for outdoor use. Fades and sheds like crazy in the most normal of elements - sunlight, cold weather and hot weather. Forget about it if it gets a little rain or snow on it - it’s ruined. They should NOT be advertising this as an outdoor mat. I complained to the actual manufacturer- Mackenzie Childs. They sent me this long write up about the mat saying in the fine print that it’s not intended for outdoor use because the sun and weather conditions fade it and damage it. So….. why are they still advertising it for outdoor use????? False advertisement. I had it on my covered porch and it still was ruined and didn’t hold up in just 2 short months. Amazon was great and replaced it for me since I was out of the allowed return/refund window, but I will not use it on the porch again or anywhere else outdoors or near sunlight. Too bad. Disappointed with this one as I’m a huge Mackenzie Childs fan. The shedding is horrible - like straw all over the place from simply stepping on it a few times.
