We recently adopted a four year old australian shepherd who had just been spayed. We also believe she has given birth within the last year, so her hormones are all over the place. She is morbidly obese and we have her on a strict diet, which means she is eating properly and getting the right supplements for the first time in her entire life, so her coat is a disaster. In short, she is shedding. A lot. I am brushing her four times a day and she is still shedding. Out of pure desperation I decided to try iGroom because I just cannot take the amount of hair our new family member leaves as a trail everywhere she goes. We paired the conditioner with the iGroom shampoo and even though we have been brushing her multiple times per day we were shocked at how much fur came out in the bath and during her blow dry. The shampoo was super easy to use and I almost think for a dog with a healthy coat the conditioner could be skipped because the shampoo is that nice. It is now three days after her bath and our girl is barely shedding at all. I have been brushing her just once per day and her coat looks and smells amazing. The first day her coat was super soft, (our other aussie's coat is still amazingly soft) but it has slowly gone back to being a little more damaged because it will take time. This conditioner and shampoo are more expensive, but they are well worth the cost. I will be buying the gallon size next as they are more economical.

My dog has skin allergies and gets yeasty so vet recommended bathing biweekly. I developed tendonitis from this frequent brushing and bathing so I wanted a deshedding conditioner that would reduce his fur burden to allow our medicated shampoo and conditioners to contact the skin more easily. Read about iGroom de-shedding conditioner on reddit groomer's forums. Several groomers said any very nourishing conditioner would help with de-shedding, and many mentioned this as their favorite brand. I used the close-open-close method (condition with diluted iGroom conditioner, Zymox shampoo, then leave-on Zymox conditioner). This conditioner smells SO GOOD and my dog's coat is the softest and shiniest its been since the allergies started. And even though I use Zymox shampoo and conditioner afterwards, the scent of this conditioner still comes through. Best conditioner I've tried to date. I can't stop sniffing my dogs.

This is the best stuff I have ever used on my golden Retreiver She will Not even start to shed for over 6 months It so worth is, I take it to her groomer to use on her And when I bath her at home. She’s a big girl at about 100lbs

Igroom products are ALWAYS great. As a professional stylist/groomer i use Igroom for the majority of the dogs and I exclusively use Igroom face wash. This particular product smells great and it works very well for a moisturizing deep conditioning shampoo and conditioner. HOWEVER, it's not as effective for deshed. I love it just not for my dogs requiring a deshed service. For that i prefer coat handler. Or even furminator i would use over the igroom for the deshed. But if you don't need an extreme deshed you will probably like this. Like i said. I really really love igroom products.

It's a lovely product and smells amazing. Not that great for deshedding but it works amazingly as a normal conditioner and leaves them super soft. It's very expensive though and not really sure it is worth the price anymore.

I love the shampoo and conditioner , and it smells good and work wonders on my two Yorkies hair. They are a bit expensive, but they worth every dollars.

This is the best conditioner I have ever tested. I have a mini poodle and the hair is super soft for brushing. Highly recommend. My dog has sensitive skin and this product is perfect for him. It’s smelling so good that I want to use it for myself! :-)
