Poor quality. Disrespectful customer service.
I am very disappointed with this product. This Jamon is as dry and hard as a leather saddle. A perfectly good pig died needlessly for this pathetic imitation of Iberian Bellota Jamon. I lived in Spain and used to buy Jamon directly from the region where it’s made and I have never seen or tasted a Jamon that is more dry than an American beef jerky. Don’t waste your time or your money on this product, or this distributor. Their Amazon store did not respond and Dao website customer service said they don’t see anything wrong with the product. As you can see from the pictures, the Jamon is extremely dry and towards the center is more moist. It was improperly cured, obviously and since it is pork can get you sick. Terrible!!!

Very slim ham
100% Ibérico acorn-fed should be the highest quality of Spanish ham, but this ham shoulder is not meeting my expectations. The flavor is good, but not excellent. The size is small, it looks like it has been trimmed before curation. It has a fair amount of fat. For this price, I’d expect something more substantial.

Don’t buy
I'm late, I guess because of the Christmas holidays. We followed all the supplier's instructions and after opening it a not very good color. I mean I buy 4 or 5 hams every year from other brands and by far this is the worst. Additionally, it has TOO MUCH FAT, it is incredible that to get to the meat you lose more than 2 pounds of meat, in short, expensive, damaged and 0% recommended.
