Casual Home 18" Black Frame-Natural/Wheat Canvas Director Chair, Classic Height

I was exhibiting at an Art Show for 4 days and need a chair in my booth. this was perfect. It folds up so its easy to put in the back of the car and transport. Its very sturdy and comfortable and looked really cool in the booth :)

I assembled this chair immediately upon receiving it. The canvas was tight, but functional (I expected to need to stretch it a bit), and the chair was comfortable for about 3 seconds before the front leg broke right along the grain of the wood, up near the underside of the seat. Customer service directly through the company was prompt in replying, but is not able to ship me a new chair. Frankly, I do not have faith that a new one would fair any better. So refund is being requested. Another item of note: if you purchase the counter or bar height chair, installing the foot rest will make it so the chair is difficult to fold up - you would have to unscrew the foot rest every single time. To sum up: this is an inexpensive chair and you get what you pay for.

I hoped to have this dealt with without posting a negative review … I purchase this year less than a year ago and it’s hardly used. Earlier this month I used it and noticed it’s a bit unstable and shaky Using closer inspection I noticed the crack in the side armrest, right at the bottom where it connects to the frame. It’s totally not Fixable and unsafe now. I paid just under $180 for the chair and now less than a year later it’s useless. I reached out to the seller on the contact email that’s provided and they replied that they only deal with parts and advised me To reach out to Amazon customer service. I did reach out and they can’t help me and told me to reach out to the seller again. On the website it’s the same email address I emailed already. They advised to include the email response from Amazon, which I did. It’s been over a week and no reply at all. Very dissatisfied and disappointed in the quality of the chair and the lack of customer service. DO NOT buy … it’s a costly chair that didn’t hold up …
