Awful
This laptop is not refurbished at all; it’s badly used. The manufacture year is 2019, and they call it refurbished. The battery drains from 47KW to 32KW in just one restart. The charger gives electricity shocks from the socket, which is definitely not genuine. The laptop is covered in scratches, and the socket is loose.

Battery Disappointing
I’m not satisfied with the battery life—it depletes much quicker than expected. Also, when the battery fully drains, the laptop requires me to enter the BIOS and manually reset the date and time, which is frustrating. Additionally, the keyboard layout is not US-standard as expected, and the laptop’s exterior build quality feels poor and below expectations.

I got my X1 Carbon Gen 7 Touchscreen just a couple of days ago. All specs are exactly as advertised. Although it is a renewed product, the unit I received was as good as a brand new. This is my 3rd X1 Carbon and in between I had the LG Gram 17" (very good laptop overall except the keyboard). This X1 generation is thinner and lighter. The touchscreen is very handy too. It is very quite. And boy the keyboard is by far the best and consistent with all past generations. I learned a lesson the hard way, the keyboard is indeed important and feeling comfortable with it is crucial especially if you do long documents like me. Overall, I am very pleased with this laptop. I think it is an outstanding value. Thank you Lenovo and thank you Amazon!

I was hesitant at first to pull the trigger on a refurbished laptop or renewed like Amazon calls it. I have to say, the product I got is as good as brand new. Honestly can not tell the difference. I am extremely happy with this purchase and saved a few 100 bucks in the process. As a bonus the PC came with windows 10 Pro!! Not sure that's the case with all. I love my "new" Lenovo X1 carbon 7th gen. Super fast and light weight, battery life is like 8 hours or more. I highly recommend these renewed products by Amazon.

Nice brand, very impressive for the price and specs at first, but very poor support for the warranty! I bought the unit from US and used in Philippines, the unit encountered issues, 1st on the screen, next on the board, and needs to change it 2x, I requested for replacement of unit due to several issues encountered. Lenovo Philippines wont replace it coz according the them, i bought it from the US. What’s the difference, you’re still lenovo of same company☹️👎

Except for the OS (Windows), the machine itself is 4 stars. Great performance (better than pretty much any MacBook I think), battery life, lightweight, discrete, nice keyboard. The problems: 1. Too many mouse options, none perfect: The trackpad isn't always sensitive enough (for tap clicks for example). the 2 buttons above don't light up with the keyboard (MacBook trackpads are still superior: simple and effective). It's confusing to have hidden buttons in the lower part of the trackpad as well as the independent ones above. The ones above crate extra space between keyboard and tradkpad, so its harder to switch from graphic interfaces to typing. I guess that's what the trackpoint is for but it takes getting used to and your wrists end up all over the edge of the computer anyway. Not the most comfortable setup — then again no laptop is super comfy. Maybe MacBooks a little more. 2. The screen isn't bright enough for example when you're outside in the day. 3. The material feels like it can get dirty or damaged easily unlike MacBooks agan (that was my previous machine) 4. Like I mentioned eralier, Lenovo censored my 4 star review — weird. 5. WINDOWS SUCKS. It really does. I wishMacOS was installed in non-Apple machines. I'm strugling with Windows and Ubuntu, both not great for GUI/UX, configuration, etc. But at least Linux has a superb command line experience.
