Legacy Standard Bible, Large Print Wide Margin Black Hardcover (LSB)

The LEGACY STANDARD BIBLE, large print wide margin is gorgeous! I bought the hardcover version for at home reading and study. It is closely based on NASB translation, but uses Yahweh which my old 1985 NASB does not; However I appreciate this translation the more because of this special Name. The paper is so nice and opaque at 40 gsm I as note taker wide margins and thick Bible paper is at the top of my want list for choosing a Bible along with large print (10.5). The text is verse by verse rather than paragraph format which I wanted because verse by verse makes Bible study/research so much more efficient. I am not a “must have red letter” person, but the red in this Bible is the best I’ve seen…..not excessively dark or light so it’s easy on the eyes! This is a premium Bible all around IMO, since I have no interest in a high dollar cover for my use at home. Once I’ve enjoyed years of loving on it and writing copious notes and research in it I will have my LSB recovered in leather as I did my old beloved NASB. We are so very blessed to have His Word in such abundant availability!

The single column print format is like reading a novel, with the verse numbers off to the left of the printing its like I'm reading the Bible for the first time again. This translation is great, the printing is great and I'm quite happy with the LSB hardcover large print version I bought; a good leather covered version is a definite purchase for the future. Outstanding.

I was pleasantly surprised that it is a decent, fairly inexpensive Bible with wide margins and a beautiful 40 gsm paper that has line matched text, sewn binding, and the red letter text is done well.I like how the contested verses are in brackets instead of footnotes like many other translations. I also like the italics for added words and the * (asterisk) to show tense variations between the ancient text and English.I generally like the LSB reading style a bit more than the ESV, another favorite of mine.The only complaint is that it is ‘text only’ with no notes. Luckily, I just downloaded the apple IOS based LSB app, which includes the whole bible with the notes!! So now I can easily refer to the app notes if I want to know what Old Testament verse is being quoted in the New Testament, for example.

The most beautiful bible I've ever owned. The large print,..single column,..verse by verse,.and I've never seen that quality of paper in a bible before. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Love the size of the print and easy to read with plenty of room for notes in the margins. Love the titles above the chapters. Great Bible!

I intentionally ordered a black hardbound edition of this Bible. I received a brown leather-bound edition. While it is a more expensive edition, it is not what I wanted. I find flexible covers difficult to hold with my neuropathic hands. I buy from amazon because it is difficult for me to get out to do returns.Because it isn’t all that big a deal for an average person, I didn’t down rate the product that much. Someone without my issues would find this to be an excellent version.

Good translation, easy reading larger print.

I like the clean pages without too much commentary and references cluttering the pages.
