This toddler wheelbarrow is perfect for my busy 2-year-old! It’s just the right size,super high quality, metal, and sturdy enough for all the “big jobs” — from hauling toys around the house to helping Dad in the yard. My little one loves feeling included, and it’s been such a fun way to encourage independence and outdoor play.

Easy enough to assemble.

If you’ve ever put together ikea furniture, you’ll have no problem with this! Start to finish was about 15 minutes. Attaching the base to the bucket took the longest. I recommend getting assistance with this part. I asked my 5 yr old to hold it while I attached the screws, which made it much easier. If it’s going to be used / stored outside, I would seal the wood. The wood feels like it was lightly varnished except the end cuts at the wheel. Unless you like the “weathered” look, which I think would happen fairly quickly. Overall great quality! Exactly what I would expect from Radio Flyer! I wish there was a size between this (suitable for 2-5 maybe?) and the full sized for my growing children! Definitely recommend.

Fit and finish are very good - looks more like a quality store window prop. More of an indoor decoration, vice a leave outside, outdoor garden toy (like dad's wheelbarrow) for kids. Smaller than you think - better for a 3yo, too small for 5yo. Assembly not complex, but IMPOSSIBLE to put together single-handily - you'll need a second pair of hands to hold.

Very well made wheelbarrow, with a little care this wheelbarrow should last through several children. It is simple to assemble with just a #2 Phillips screwdriver and an adjustable jaw wrench. I think it took me maybe 10 minutes.

I have friends that do farming, so this seemed like the perfect gift for their son. The great thing is that it isn't a cheap toy; it is an actual miniature wheelbarrow. It's made out of wood and metal, with a (from what I recall) plastic wheel. Putting it together was not completely obvious, and there were some angles involved. This might have slowed me down 5 minutes? The birthday boy loved it, and he can use it to carry stuff along with his parents. I think it could be similarly useful for families that like gardening as well. I was happy with the quality and the price, so I would purchase it again.
