I’ve only tried it out a couple times and it seems to heat up. It doesn’t appear to get as hot, and as fast as it claims on the description. overall it does work.

I knew everything for motorcycle repair to heavy equipment repair. I have used this over and over and over again. Although it has some limitations. It is still one of the most used specialty tools in my collection. If you're around the fence about it, these will work or not. As long as you are not dealing with stainless steel, anything magnetic the answer is buy it. You will not be sorry.

I bought this to heat nuts at the base of parking lot light poles instead of using a torch and setting the mulch on fire. It works very well. Comes with a bunch of different size loops and one you can custom bend. Overall I’m happy with it.

So had to buy because I was replacing shocks well the shock bolted next to the fuel tank so with a plastic tank didn't want to use a flame so friend recommended an induction heat tool so ordered this one yes it worked great have used it several times since on multiple different steel and does an amazing job. Does take a few mins to heat harder steel but have ran pass the 2min mark with no problem. Have ran 5 min max because it was on a 1 inch nut on a tractor. Was cherry red and came off with easy. Also should note careful of chemical you use some flash points are extremely high and yes this will get there. But great price amazing product

Don't purchase this Item as it is a waste of money. Spend the extra to get a brand name. I used it one time for one nut that was rusted on a bolt and yes it worked and the nut came right off. I then put the unit back in the case and made sure that everything fit neat and right in the case and then put it on the shelf in my tool truck and didn't use it for 6 months. I just pulled it out a day ago and put the coil on the end and plugged the cord in and the fan came on and I got it in place over the steel bolt that was broken off in an aluminum block, pressed the button and the LED light came on and after 1 min. I checked the temp and it wasn't even warm. So I grabbed a steel bolt out of the shop and put it in the coil and pressed the button and the LED came on and behold NO HEAT! I held the button for over 5 mins and still nothing! I was holding the bolt with my other hand and absolutely NO HEAT was being generated by this POS! Don't Buy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
