Simply trying to help people make the best choice in this extremely shady business! *** • This review is on: Nutricost Tudca 250mg, 60 Capsules (Tauroursodeoxycholic Acid) - Premium Quality • So anyone that takes a lot of supplements as I do, or oral medications of any kind, drinks or party’s & definitely for cycle support should be taking a liver support/protectant. Many people are familiar with & most likely have taken Milk Thistle or maybe even Liv52 ,which are fine, but to be real honest, TUDCA is is FAR BETTER! • Keep reading to find out why! • TUDCA which is Tauroursodeoxycholic acid, is a chemical naturally produced in the human body & it is in a form of salt before it transforms into TUDCA. It is said to have a few benefits & the following are to name a few: 1) Said to protect nerve cells and it also protects the liver. 2) Helps to control cholesterol levels in the liver because it breaks down fats resulting in a healthy liver. 3) Said to have the ability to burn fats. Now on to the the main reasons this is top shelf: • It decrease liver enzymes that cause cholestasis & for those that have no clue what that is, cholestasis interrupts the flow of bile through the liver and by decreasing these enzymes, Tauroursodeoxycholic Acid can promote healthy cholesterol levels. TUDCA also promotes liver cell regeneration & to be honest, I recommend to combine this with Milk Thistle (NOT if you are using any methylated Prohormone or oral steroid), because it is a much more effective way to promote liver health and protection. Tauroursodeoxycholic Acid is also good for improving insulin sensitivity in muscle tissue and the liver. Lastly, it will increase the bile acids in our bodies which will help the body utilize fat for energy, and promote a healthy metabolism. • HUGE FACT: There is another product called UDCA which is prescription ONLY. Why am I mentioning this as a comparison? Well when TUDCA reaches the intestines, it will be transformed to UDCA. UDCA will then be combined with taurine (Liver produces Taurine) & this mixture will lead to the production of TUDCA. • These are normal size capsules, so they are easy to ingest, & are well within the expiration date. The recommended dosage is 200-300mg/day depending on your weight, liver health, drinking habits, oral medication usage & these are right on point with their dosage. Their price $29.95 for a 2 month supply is right where others of it's kind is, so bravo to Nutricost with this product. I have purchased this a couple times and will continue. I highly recommend.

This helped heal my liver.

I am taking c8 oil for energy due to muscle weakness, overall weakness and lethargy from muscle disease and hypothyroidism coupled with a glycogen storage disorder and insulin resistance. But, taking c8 oil that goes directly to the liver caused me to look for some help for my liver. I started Tudca by opening the capsule and pouring out half (then closing it back up before taking) to make sure it did not cause issues for me. I took it three days, just half the contents of a pill. No issues. Then I began taking a full pill once a day and I noticed that the small amount of carbs that I do eat actually gave me energy instead of making me lethargic. I am starting week two and have had no issues, feel less bloating around my liver and I can tolerate a little more of both the c8 oil and complex carbs (which had been such a source of lethargy for me before). Easy does it and everything in controlled moderation for me, but Tudca has helped. Note: my gallbladder was removed years ago to rule out gallbladder issues being part of the cause of my issues. I totally do not recommend having it removed unless absolutely needed, there is a high suspicion that removing the gallbladder (and the issues that come with it) may be a cause of hypothyroidism in some. Tudca seems to counteract some of the issues that came from having my gall bladder removed and seem to help with energy. Update 7/14/2020: I am still taking Tudca and now that the summer heat is here, I m happy to say I certainly have more energy and strength during the hot months (my worst months). The digestion issues are not an issue anymore as long as remember to take Tudca with fatty meals. Very happy. I am now alternating this Tudca with one with digestive enzymes for meals with carbs and find this very beneficial. Good luck to you all.

How's good health benefits for the stomach. Purchase this product more than once and recommend it to others.

I was not sure if Tudca would help and had never heard of it. After about 12 days of taking it, I felt my gallbladder flutter and contract. It hurt but since then....my poop is no longer orange! If you know, you know! I was told by my gi doctor to go to the emergency room if my gallbladder hurt and then they would take it out. I felt so put off by this silly idea that surgery was my only option. So I went online and did research and found Tudca. It should also be known that I completely changed my diet as well. I went vegan. Not the French fry eating vegan but the brown rice and veg vegan. No fried foods ever, only avocado oil. Together with Tudca things have turned around!

Great product! I have been using Tudca for a couple years. I used this one for maybe a year, and then I went to another one with a higher dose. I used that one for a year, until I accidently bought this one recently. It was then that I discovered that this one has the bitter Tudca taste, and the other one had no taste at all. Tudca usually keeps me regular, but I had been constipated while using the other one. I am now back to being regular. Tudca is supposed to be very good for your liver. I will never change brands again.

I take one daily. The tablet is terrible in taste just like the real thing! So the trick is to have it by itself and a quick gulp of water chased with juice to remove the aftertaste. If I let it lie a minute in my capful of other tablets then the taste transfers a bit so don’t do that! You can Google TUDCA taste to find out more, and it definitely isn’t made from bear liver LoL though traditional Chinese medicine might have originally discovered it through bears. I am happy with the quality and didn’t face any issues like powder outside the capsules.

This is a very underrated supplement. This cleanses your liver, specially for those who have developed a fatty liver due to a very bad diet and alcohol consumption.
