Plumber installed and had one heck of a time getting the ball valve to have a leak tight connection. Unable to use the ball valve. Design needs improvement. What’s good is the ability to open the top. Less expensive than a restaurant grade option at the local plumbing warehouse.

Didn't have a grease trap on my food trailer and the pea trap was getting clogged too much. I installed this grease trap and things are a lot better now. Pipes stay cleaner and so does the holding tank.

A container designed to hold water without leaking leaks profusely from the one place it needed not to leak. The valve at the bottom however convenient having it might be leaks right out of the gate. The build quality is t good all the way around. I could have made a 5 gallon bucket do this job better. This seems to be due to the poor job they did cutting the hole or the cheap valve that is included.

The valve attachment is an absolute headache to seal. There are ZERO directions on how to assemble it. Had to try 4 different combinations before it seemed to seal. What worked (we think. The jury is still out) is to remove the rubber gasket that is on the male end piece and replace it with one of the provided rubber gaskets. Then I put a ton of Teflon tape on the threads, pushed the piece through the hole, and didn't put a gasket on the outside..just the metal washer (allowing more threads to be used). Recommend installing and testing the seal of the valve before installing the trap in its permanent location.

I was really happy that I was able to be supplied by you guys quickly and seems effort was in the making. I am sorry but the grease trap does seem very thin and don't see that it will last long. I have been to busy to hook it onto my sink. The side was very close to the one i am needing to replace (thats a plus) and i do like the fact for having a basket to catch big stuff in (another plus) but i do have to change all the drain pipes or motify the connection because the parts that you hook it up on are alot smaller than i thought they might be. Hopefully it works out. i can update my review better as soon as i get a chance.
