This was recommended to my my the woman who cuts my hair as the best flat iron she has used. I purchased for around $130 for my teen daughter who has very thick, wavy, colored hair. It works like magic. Definitely worth every penny. We tried a few other brands at prices between $70-$200 and this was the absolute winner. I went through tons of reviews and wish I had just purchased this to start.

Very hot but for a person like me who has big wavy curls, this flat iron really works and my hair looks very shiny and natural straight hair.

Needed a 240VAC straightener for my college-aged daughter going to Europe. She said it worked well, although she didn't discuss technical performance details. I will say it was beautifully packaged in a lovely tube. I looked at the NuMe website which included a nice travel case, however I bought through Amazon instead of direct from NuMe's website, because there was some legal lingo at NuMe that sounded to me like there was no warranty plus it would have cost a lot of money to return it even if it failed right out of the box. Very important that the device is rated for 240VAC/50Hz, so it didn't blow up, melt down, or cause a fire when she plugged it into the 240VAC outlet (unlike the 120VAC/60Hz devices that unwary people try to use overseas). I thought it was expensive for a flat iron, so that's why it's four stars. At the time I purchased, it was about the same price from Amazon and NuMe (including the discount from NuMe), but in the end I trusted Amazon more.

I got this for my sister’s birthday. She has very thin curly hair. It works perfect. Her hair stays straight and shiny after using this product for 3 days if hair not washed.

This flat iron does a good job. I have kinky, fizzy, wavey & curly but not in a pretty way. The red light really helps all of these problems.

This is a cosmetically pretty flat iron but it pulls my hair. You can see the hair it pulls out and hear it raking through your hair. I think it’s due to the infrared strip. I thought it was 2 solid plates but one of the plates is split down middle where infrared is. So the edges of those 2 plates pull and tug on your hair. It is also heavy. I’m used to my Hot Tools which was very light. I should have just bought another one but I was excited about this NU.ME which was a disappointment

This is an amazing straightener. I got it almost two years ago and it straightens my wavy/frizzy hair into sleek and straight hair. It also curls my hair beautifully.

Nice feel and controls don't get in way. Hair doesn't catch and pull out anywhere. Hair feels satiny and smooth after!!! I can use less product.

Hasta ahora la alaciadora va bien, pero la compré principalmente porque se comentaba que para cabellos que han sido procesados químicamente les iba bien y la verdad es que si me deja frizz. Aunque sí deja suavecito el cabello.

Fantastic quality iron. I have super thick, course hair and it makes it smooth and beautiful.
