Buffalo Games - Charles Wysocki - Pete's Gambling Hall - 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle , Brown

This was a great puzzle. No issues at all. Did the whole thing in about 30 hours with a few breaks and a nights sleep. I am dreaming about puzzling now. I think part of it is hard (sky) some of it fairly easy, but a lot of it right in the middle. I'd say good for most people, prob a little easy for hardcore puzzlers, which I am not. I would buy another puzzle from this company based on this one.

I stumbled on buffalo games puzzles by accident and now I try not to puzzle with anything but buffalo games. The pieces are at least a smidge thicker than any other brand I’ve tried (Ceaco seems to come the closest) and there is no doubt about where a piece fits. I think that feature is assisted by definitive colors When one is doing puzzles of 1000 pieces or more, those are pretty important features. (My son gave me a puzzle by a different brand and the colors are so windy-washy and the pieces so non-pristine that it took me two hours just to get the border put together properly. I will continue to work on that puzzle for no other reason than to not hurt his feelings, but I’ll be wishing it was a buffalo games puzzle at every step I’m sure😊

UPDATE: after contacting the company, they sent me a brand new puzzle. I will still continue purchasing Buffalo Games Puzzles. I really enjoy Charles Wysocki puzzles. They are vibrant and fun without being overly challenging (not too much in similar colorings - sky, trees, matching buildings, etc.). But this particular puzzle is missing two pieces. The puzzle was opened at this table pictured and never moved. I gave it as a gift and now feel bad for giving a faulty product. (We didn't complete the puzzle until after the return window.) I am disappointed in this purchase.

We only buy two brands of puzzles and Buffalo is one. They are sturdy, they don't fall apart when touched, great subjects, with sharp, clear, images. We always take several with us on vacations, leave them and often find they are put together when we arrive the next year. Everyone loves a quality product and Buffalo knows how to make one. Lovely thick pieces which enhances the pleasure when assembling.

This was one of several puzzles ordered at the same time. We just got it out over the Labor Day weekend to build. The picture is beautiful and it is very sturdy as are all Buffalo products. However upon completing the frame, we could not find two pieces. We thought that we would find them in the mix as we started to work on the puzzle, but they never appeared. The missing two are on the bottom right of the frame and they sit right next to each other as you can see on the photo.

Buffalo games have always been a favorite. They are make well and seem very durable.

There is a lot of detail in this puzzle. The 1000 piece puzzles are always a challenge, even with two people. The mountains are particularly challenging but it was still fun to work on. Colours are not always what they seem, the tricky puzzle! Ha ha! I have loved jigsaw puzzles all my life, and I love Charle' Wyscoki's lovely artwork of "days gone by". My first Charles Wysocki puzzle was a 500 piece one, back when I was in elementary school (in the 80s). It wasn't until recently that I wanted to work on Charles' Wysocki puzzles again, and I love being able to designate Thursday's as "Puzzle Day" with me & my Mum. We love all the small details in Charles' Wysocki's artwork.

De buena calidad y la caja en la que viene es pequeña. Los temas de esta serie de rompecabezas me gustan. Aun no lo comienzo a armar pero se ve que sera un excelente reto. La forma de las piezas son clasicas y no viene con pegamento.
