Wow! Cat Food That Seems Yummy!
Wow! I have the pickiest cats in the whole universe. The only wet food they eat is Spot's Stew Chicken. I can get them to eat the Chicken/Beef flavor if I add some shaved Bonito but with three cats Slinky, Jester and Regal, only Slinky and Jester scarf the food down. They will eat the chicken without the Bonito but Regal is another story. She won't eat it at first but might come back later and eat some. She will ONLY eat the Chicken and does not like Bonito so with her, it gets a little more tough. However, this food is a wonderful consistency, smells good (to me the human) and I assume to the kitties as well because they LOVE this stuff. For the vegetables, I don't know if cats really need them however, I mush them up with the meat and they don't notice. If I miss mushing some, then yes they try to eat around the peas/carrots. All I can say is thank goodness for this food. I spent lots of money and time trying to find something they would like. I also feed them a mix of Halo dry Sensitive Formula Turkey and Purina Dental Health. In order to prevent urinary symptoms, I give my cats only fresh bottled water every day that I put in bowls all over the house. With the good water, the good food and lots of petting, I have the happiest cats in Arizona! Thank you Halo!!

Great cat food. It's a keeper!
All 3 of my cats love this food. They were previously on Wellness Turkey and when the cans were recalled I tried this on the suggestion of a family friend since their one cat has the same crystal issues our oldest does. He eats his prescription dry in the morning and this at night. Normally he's content to let the other two cats get to their food first and hold back with patience for his own, but with this it is the first time I have seen him muscle away the other two cats to eat. I'll be sticking with this and the turkey flavor. Also there is no fish in this or the turkey flavor wet or dry foods which is excellent! My cats don't tend to enjoy food that has fish in it and this is one of the few foods I can find that is both good for them and has no fish. One of them does not like the peas in the food, he will eat around them, but one of the others eats them when he's done. So if your cat hates bits of veggies they may not really enjoy it as much. Oh and one more point, it doesn't have that funky wet food smell a lot of other foods (even good ones) have. I really can't smell it once I stand up after putting it in the bowl.

Too rich for my cats.
Product is too dark and has odd tuba smell. Seems the recipe is very rich. Cats won’t eat it. Sad.

The best cat food at this price point
The best low-cost wet food I’ve been able to find is Halo’s Spot’s Stew line of canned cat food. While I do not recommend the fish varieties, the others are quite good with whole meat and no GMO ingredients. The only downside to these foods is the inclusion of salmon oil, but it’s the next to the last ingredient in most of their formulas. This is a very good canned cat food, and one you should definitely consider if you’re on a budget. Both my finicky cats love it so we alternate between the chicken/beef and the lamb flavors.

It's just protein and vegetables. No filler. No junk.
This is what I consider the "cleanest" canned cat food. My cat has been eating this for 6 years and has a beautiful coat and remains healthy, happy and active. I hope they never change the ingredients.

Cats love it!
Both of my cats, a 7 yr old part Maine Coon and a 4 yr old Siberian, love this flavor and it fills them up better than the kitty crack brand they had before. Better yet, my older kitty doesn't vomit daily like he did before we switched foods! I think he may have a previously unrecognized allergy to the grain fillers. Sadly, due to a bad car accident while working in Europe, we have just lost 2/3 of our income and probably will be unable to keep them on these more expensive foods. We don't mind beans and rice, but our poor babies won't understand why their good food has to change back to kitty crack which the younger one doesn't want to eat anymore and the older one upchucks! Just when we found something that works and that they like! Good old work comp! This flavor is a particular favorite. Highly recommend. Do not recommend Halo Spot's stews, though. Who in their right mind puts peas, carrots, and green beans in food for a carnivore?? I have to thoroughly mash the vegetables in to get them to eat it or I wind up with a bowl full of veggies they carefully eat around! One of the stews (the chicken and beef) neither cat will touch at all so I'm stuck with 11 cans of the stuff. This flavor does not have the veggies like the stews and gets 2 feline thumbs up here!

Like, whoa
One cat loves it (she'll eat anything), and the other cat consistently leaves some in his dish for the other cat to finish, particularly the veggies. Actually, on occasion, they both eat around the veggies. Since I've switched them to this food, the odor of their #2's will knock you down!!!! Like, whoa. Certainly not the worst food we've tried - they eat it, they don't vomit, and I like that it's grain free, but do cats need this many vegetables? I think we're going to switch them to a food in which they're at least ground into the food, if not completely omitted. Stinky!
