These shakers were just the thing to spruce up our outdoor dining. Instead of hauling out the bulk containers of Parmesan cheese and crushed red peppers, we use these instead. The shakers handle the grated cheese perfectly and provide a nice, predictable amount of cheese. The same goes for the crushed red peppers; we no longer end up with a sprinkle here and there and a large clump on the middle of the pizza slice! The shakers have a nice heft to them and the lids fit nicely. Very pleased.

Perfect for Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes like what you see at Pizza Hut! Whenever we have pizza or Italian food I pull out these shakers and they are exactly what we need. These are so much more user friendly than opening up packages of cheese when you want to put cheese on your pizza. And they are the perfect size, they aren't too large so I am not wasting the cheese that I put inside. Of course I keep the cheese container in the fridge to keep it fresh. I'm sure it can be used for any other spice that you use a lot of. The holes on the top are larger than what you would use for salt and regular pepper. This was a great buy!!

Price was good for a 2 pack, they are simple looking like the ones you see at a pizza place (I didn't want something fancy or complicated), the lids are very smooth when taking on and off, and it does the job needed. The shakers are 6 oz (per the sticker on the bottom) and I put an 11 oz bottle of Garlic Salt in the picture for a size comparison. The shipping was fast (prime member) and they were packaged pretty good so they would not shift and break in the box during transit. I have no complaints!

Perfect Addition to your salt and pepper shakers. People asked for Red Pepper for pizza. I didn't have any so I bought these. They are identical to the ones at Pizza Hut Very Nice! I want ones with big round holes these was perfect!

Use to sprinkle flour on dough and worksurface when rolling out pie dough. Saw an Amish baker do this on YouTube - ingenious!

These are great little jars...All glass, and a thick quality one at that...The holes in it are perfect for that which you enjoy really using a lot of, or that tends to get stuck and be a pain in spice jars with regular holes...Things like Italian seasoning and red pepper flakes for example. Although you see these in lots of old time Italian restaurants with grated cheese in them, it's too small for that for me the way I love to use cheese...I have this things big brother in the house for that job. I bought a couple of these for my addiction to garlic....I use twice the garlic in any recipe that calls for it, and add it to any without it. I also use garlic pepper as opposed to regular pepper, and just as generously. These suit the way I like to use garlic very well. The caps on them are very good, and screw on and off effortlessly. These are perfect and come at a very fair price here on Amazon for the pair...Excellent and recommended...
