Fantastic gaming monitor under 20k...TRUE IPS DISPLAY...I had 27inch Benq TN Panel(BenQ Zowie RL2755 ) which also costs around 14k and i have also used Acer KG271C 144HZ TN Panel(which i have returned on amazon)...but this acer blows it away in terms of picture quality...i bought it for competitive gaming but i was shocked to see the picture quality...i started to newly discover both single player and multiplayer games...brightness color contrast and everything else is outstanding....i had to lower brightness to 30 per cent to make it suitable...very good for video editing and watching movies also. People will say that IPS HAS BETTER VIEWING ANGLES BUT ITS NOT COMPLETELY TRUE, I DID DUAL AND TRIPLE MOITOR SETUP And ALSO TESTED WITH SINGLE SETUP and ALL THE THREE PERSONALLY BECAUSE I HAVE RTX 2060 AND COMPARED IT WITH MY TN PANELS (SIDE BY SIDE VIEWING FROM NORMAL SITTING DISTANCE) .THIS MONITOR BLOWS AWAY THE OTHER TWO MONITORS COMPLETELY ITS NO CONTEST AT ALL....VIEWING ANGLES ARE TOO BAD ON TN BUT EVEN ON NORMAL VIEWING THE IPS PROVIDES MUCH MORE...I WOULD SAY A LOT MORE COLOUR ACCURACY DEPTH, CONTRAST AND BRIGHTNESS THAN TN. I play Valorant and the performance it provides is outstanding...i upgraded from 60 to 165...i would like to describe it has BUTTERY SMOOTH PERFORMANCE no lags at all...only flick and one tap head now !! I was stuck on Iron 3 - Bronze 2 but now I'm Gold 1. My gaming settings - OVERDRIVE - normal, FREESYNC - off coz i have RTX 2060 gpu, VRB - normal. The brightness is too high so after enabling vrb to normal there is only 1% drop on brightness only...don't trust other stupid reviews which say screen becomes very dim. Even with vrb on the brightness can hurt your eyes so i set brightness to 30% only. Speakers are nothing special and I don't even care because I have headphones and speakers already. Stand is very good and sturdy and keeps the monitor steady even if your table shakes a little bit. Built quality is surprisingly very good...almost as good as my Benq Monitor which is quite expensive.(Benq monitors gaming/normal are actually slightly more expensive than other brands). I bought from seller XTRONICSAPP for 14k on Republic Day sale and got 1 day delivery so i absolutely recommend this seller...the first piece which i got had some issues with the stand(it was too stiff) and slight back light bleed on the bottom side of the left side....but it was not absolutely horrible or unbearable, a minor glow....it was absolutely fine when being used for gaming and other purposes but somehow the back light bleed started to bother me ...every time i turned on the monitor i could see a certain place glowing excessively with a white light type effect and it appeared as if its spreading over and becoming more prominent so i asked for replacement as i had used it for only 1 day...got next day delivery and replacement immediately on the next day. I have shared the backlight bleed issue with some of my friends, some said it was very minor and they wont't have oped for replacement but some said to replace and get a new coz the bleeding could spread as its a defective panel after all...more or less. New piece which i received is working perfectly fine...not a single issue and i'm absolutely loving this monitor. I have done UFO Test - framerate, ghosting, refresh rate(all the other ufo tests) and dead pixel test and it passed all of them... If u r buying monitor online from Amazon then u can absolutely trust seller XTRONICSAPP. He will provide high quality and new sealed product...and will provide quick replacement incase anything goes wrong. Cheers

Alright guys if u are tight on budget and still need a good monitor with high refresh rate then it is no doubt a great choice I have used this monitor for about 6-8 months now so I would like to point out some pros and cons of this monitor Pros 1. It has 180 hz refresh rate, while most of the other competitors have 144 hz 2.Picture quality is very good no doubt but still lacks in colour accuracy and contrast. 3.Speakers are decent 4.Its brightness is top notch. 5. It is highly adjustable and screen doesn't wobble easily. Cons 1.hdr400 is not better than hdr10 it might sound good to buyers that it has hdr400 while Samsung's Odyssey has hdr10 it's wrong. Hdr400 is just a certification of high brightness but hdr10 has even more brightness and more colour accuracy. 2.when using hdr monitor gets very hot even in short gaming sessions. 3.there are some backlight bleed 4. No usb ports in the monitor u can't attach led lights to it. In short it's a very good monitor considering it's price point around 15-16k inr so in that range it's very good. IMP TIP BUT I KNOW THIS MIGHT SOUND BAD BUT EVEN IF U ARE TIGHT ON BUDGET TRY TO INCREASE YOUR BUDGET AND GET THE SAMSUNG ODYSSEY INSTEAD WHICH IS AROUND 19-20K I KNOW IT HAS 165HZ REFRESH RATE BUT TRUST ME U WON'T NOTICE THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN 165 AND 180 HZ. Model: VG240Y M3 Go for it blind folded if you find a deal on this and anything less than 10k is fine for this. Long review: When my Acer Predator Helios 300 144hz inbuilt display started showing signs of slow death, I made a practical choice to add a bigger and faster display to the RTX2060 for smoother and immersive gaming. After thoughtfully checking out multiple monitors under 12k budget between 24inch and 27inch models, I found 24inch to be sweet spot for FHD resolution as this monitor will be put to use for work alongside gaming. Display density and pixelation are must have considerations while buying any monitor. I am glad I bought this. Let me list down the pros and cons I have experienced during the last 3 months of daily usage of this monitor. Pros: * High refresh rate (180hz). * Cost effective option (Though I bought it at ₹9999, during last GIF sale - early Oct 2024, it was sold for as low as ₹7800. That was a steal deal). * 3 input with 2 HDMI ports & 1 DP port which can be switched between with few clicks of physical buttons at the bottom right corner behind the monitor. I added external HDMI switch for faster and smoother input switching for my 2 laptop - 1 monitor setup. * Brand value. * Almost bezel less design. * IPS display. * HDR is so good that the colors and contrast is as great as inbuilt screen I got on my Acer Predator Helios 300 or even better I would say. Also the colors and contrast is close to what we see on Macbook pro. Though they are not comparable, when we use Macbook in clamshell mode, we won't notice a difference. Cons: * The power cable it came with has 16A plug while most electronics are operated on 6A-10A plugs so are the sockets in most power surge protector extension boxes. This had me buy a 16A-6A converter for ₹60 from local electricals store and eventually spend ₹350 to get a 6A plug cable to eliminate the need for the converter. * I wish there is a dedicated button for input switching between HDMI and DP ports. This has to be the best monitor that you can buy in this price range. Everything in this monitor is so damn amazing. The display is sharp, crisp, very bright. The colours are also accurate. The ambient lighting at the back is a cherry on top plus this white colour is so aesthetically pleasing. I have never been this satisfied with a monitor purchase. The Subtle 1500R curve makes the viewing angle so damn amazing. It’s a perfect monitor If you are a designer if you want productivity, if you are a gamer, it’s bang for the buck.

Initially, the performance seemed promising, with vibrant visuals and smooth functionality. However, my experience took a sharp turn for the worse. Product Issues After just three months of moderate usage, on December 30, 2024, the screen developed severe screen bleeding, accompanied by large black spots and black lines running across the display. Hardware failure can happen, and I was prepared to rely on Acer’s three-year warranty to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, Acer’s after-sales support turned out to be a nightmare. Customer Service Experience 1. Contacted Acer India via Email: I sent an email describing the issue and attached both the invoice and photos of the defective screen. To my surprise, their response was dismissive—they labeled the issue as customer-induced damage without even inspecting the product. 2. Called Acer India Support: Hoping for better support through phone calls, I was met with the same rigid stance. The team outright refused to provide assistance, neither assigning a technician nor directing me to service centers. I will not talk about Gaming side of this monitor, cause first of all gaming is not the only purpose to buy a monitor. Creative Works and other aspect of entertainment are part of life. So in short as the monitor giving you 180hz, yes you can enjoy gaming. Now lets talk about the monitor why i think it its one of the best. The price point it comes in 17k, there are LG wide monitors between 17-20k price point, you can go for them if you don't trust Acer. But they will not provide you more than 100hz refresh rate, they will give 99 percent SRGB. Where in Acer you will get 100 percent srgb as well as good value of DCIP3 with impressive Delta Value (E<1). It comes out of the box Calibrated, as Delta Value is Impressive Color Accuracy is Top Notch. Lg will give you HDR10 most probably, Acer Providing you HDR400, which is better. Usually under 20k, companies doesn't provide us with True 8bit panel, they use 6bit panel with FRC technology to make the color pop out as 8bit. Yes normal people can't differentiate between FRC 8bit and True 8bit if they watch side by side in most cases. But the people who works with color grading they will need exact color re production from their photos or videos, true 8bit will give them advantage. Now another impressive part of this monitor is, the panel supports 10 bit color also. You have to sacrifice some refresh rate from 180hz to 120hz to enable the 10bit color. This monitor use FRC technology to support 10bit colors. Can you imagine in 17k you are getting such a panel and color accurate monitor. It's no brainer, even Asus Pro art, Benq can't provide you these much things in that price point. Build Quality is decent, the Stand is totally made of Metal and the monitor's body is made of Plastic which doesn't make sound or squeezed. They provided you nipple joystick to navigate the menu of the monitor as well as they gave some switches. So go for this monitor if you are a graphics designer, a video editor, a photographer, a videographer, a content creator or if you want a monitor to enjoy Movies and Series go for it. Let me give couple of Cons, the panel has backlight bleeding which is very minor. U can see that if you are watching content in dark room with Black or Dark scene going on. Maybe you can see very minor bleed of grey on top and down corners. If there is no dark scenes you can't find any bleed of light. Most of the panel under 20k has minor bleed and IPS glow, it's common. Bestselling monitor of Gigyabite also has that issue. That's where BENQ, ASUS, LG, SAMSUNG best at, in most cases you will not find any Bleeding and they comes more priced than this monitor. Another Con i will say if they could have provided a small usb hub and 3.5mm jack for head/earphones behind the monitor it would have been really helpful. Speaker is 'blaaa', not that good. Suggest to use Headphones, Earphones or speaker for sound. And for gamers u can find other reviewers for your specific query, if you need something more after reading my review. Peace.

It's nice , I'd strongly recommend, if you have budget, excellent quality, no other monitor provide 2k/1440p resolution in this price range , avg speaker , hdmi , dp ports a re good also I can guarantee no other brand have 2k monitor with 180hz refresh rate in this price of 14,999 I got with exceptional colour gamut , i didn't face any screen bleeding issues it's good , also only catch it have is it supports HDR but have brightness of 280 nits, just use in somewhere little darker , I didn't use its stand used mount so i can say about it
