Interesting story about these bulbs. I have a light fixture that might be original to my house that was built in 1950. When the bulb went out I went to my local electrical supply place with the burned out bulb and the guy behind the counter said they had not sold this type of bulb for well over 10 years. I tried a 2nd supplier and got a similar story. I went on Amazon and found the exact bulb that I needed and they work great.

This halogen bulb works great and was incredibly easy to install. Took just a few seconds and lit up brighter than expected. Would definitely buy again.

Put two bulbs in a gable mounted dual light fixture. One burned out the first week and the other is still going more than a year. Light is only used when unloading vehicles at night so burn time is limited, maybe half hour a week or less.

This worked perfect on my work lamp and it was a fair price.
