Real nice wooden toilet seat - fits my Jabsco marine head on my Catalina Capri 26 sailboat. Replacement - is an exact match.

This seat was a replacement for my 20 year old seat on my marine head. Old seat was in good shape but hinges broke. Replacing the entire seat was only a few dollars more than the hinges so I replaced it all. New seat has great smooth finish and was easy to install. Very good quality and I expect to get another 20 years use out of this Bemis seat. I highly recommend this product.

Al modello originale si erano spanate le viti di fissaggio. Acquisto le cerniere di ricambio di plastica, sistemo l’area rovinata con stucco per legno e con l’occasione dipingo con vernice spray bianca e lucidante la ciambella, che era scolorita, con un buon risultato finale. Rimonto tutto e la ciambella ritorna regolarmente in uso ma dopo un po’ di giorni lo stucco cede e la seggetta si sgancia nuovamente. Forse conveniva usare la resina epossidica per ricreare e consolidare l’area rovinata dove avvitare le viti. Consultando Amazon troviamo questa confezione con le misure uguali a quella originale e con un prezzo decente per cui decidiamo di fare l’ordine. Ottima soluzione perché già tutta pronta, da fissare solamente con le due viti di plastica al WC. Problema risolto.
