Perfect lift
This has worked really well on me, I was surprised by the level of lift I got and I only left it on for half an hour because I was strapped for time - you can leave it on for 30-60 minutes. I only applied to my roots and the next 3 inches down, this is where my roots were very very dark and the next 3 inches were very orange (through not toning previous bleach job). All of it is now a uniform light blonde. I'm impressed. I wasn't expecting that. It does have a very slight yellow tinge but that's okay, it's no more yellow than how real bleach would leave it, in fact it's probably a bit less yellow than bleach would have it as tbg bleach often makes mine more orange - its honestly good I would not be embarrassed to go out with it the colour it currently is. That's a feeling I've never had with bleach haha. Nevertheless I have the toner from the same brand which I will use today. Hopefully that is as good a product as this is. Hair condition has been left nice, I was complimented on the shine (for the first time in a long time) by my mother yesterday, i did it yesterday, when I woke up this morning before combing it was still soft and shining after sleeping on it. I don't think there's been any damage (but bare in mind i did not put it on the ends) but time will tell on that front. So far it seems a lot better than bleaching! So far I'm very impressed all in all, with every aspect, and plan to use this for my roots going forward. Bleach has really done a number on my hair, so hopefully those days are over. I've always liked nice and easy products, my issue with them is they have a really bad habit of changing formulas. So you find one you like and then they go and change the formula for no reason whatsoever and all of a sudden its awful for you! As I want to use this one long term now for blonding I can only hope and pray they don't go Changing this formula. Clairol - if its not broke please you don't need to fix it! Great product

Perfect
Brilliant for lightening hair. Did the job perfectly. Although this said its ammonia free, it's still quite drying on the ends of the hair. So still be careful of breakage. But had a good result with this, and would use it again

Would use again.
Wanted to lift dyed hair colour by about 5 shades and this was perfect .Left hair evenly lightened and in good condition.

Much better than LIVE hair dye
I've used LIVE in the past and my hair was so damaged by it so I thought I'd use this to lift a dyed light brown. My roots were grey. The light brown lifted to a lovely blonde colour which I'd never got with the LIVE ice blonde etc. My roots were yellowy but I knew that would happen as they were gray. I was lifting to add a silver colour on anyways - so I added that and the colour was fab! I definitely use this again as my hair felt great after and didn't fall out.

Trust the process
I felt the need to write an honest review because I PANICKED when I washed this out as I thought my hair turned ginger, but I added a bit of purple shampoo and then blow dried it and it's gone such a lovely even colour, (i didn't do the roots though so can't say whether they would go orange from the heat of the scalp, but the instructions said to do the roots last so as long as thats followed should be okay) Would defo use again as I've had many a dodgy bleach job and my hair doesn't feel like straw after, it feels great after conditioning

No change at all
Waste of money. Made no change whatsoever ever to my hair . Was a medium blonde, wanted a few high lights , left on for an hour and still no change at all

Love it
I was soo on the fence whether to use this! But thought sod it! I had lots of highlights in my hair anyway from professional dying. But it wasn’t getting as light as I wanted it. Was so worried it would go orange at the roots. My hair has a lot of red it so it’s probably got a slight tinge but honestly I love it. I’ve had so many compliments and people that told me not to do it!

Very strong bleach smell. No good on greys at all.
You need to have the window open the bleach is so strong. Didn't cover one inch greys AT ALL. But not many box dyes do so I expected that to some degree. It's also a very drippy product. Put towels everywhere it will fly off your head and ruin clothes and furniture if your not careful. Three stars for It did make my hair an EVEN colour all over. Big plus. It did damage my hair BUT with extra conditioning from now till the near future this can be managed. Lastly it's a good price. I wouldn't use this brand again but everyone's different. For some reason it wouldn't let me upload a photo possibly because I didn't want my face in the pic.
