This is my replacement hub for the Lention that stopped working after 18 months. I had rated that product 5 Star and it was truly great product till one day it decided not to deliver power from the PD port to laptop. Without power supply passing through, it was useless and I scrapped it. Then started my search for a new hub - the biggest challenge though how to identify one that combines good build quality and functionality with longevity. So, I decided to go with known non-chinese brands and Anker came top on the list. So far, the hub is working like a charm, just like Lention. I am hoping that this will last for at least 3 years to justify the price premium. One small gripe is that the USC C cable attached to the hub is too short (15 Cms, I guess). I keep my laptop in a vertical position with lid closed on a stand and work on the monitor. The USB C port on my laptop is on the upper end of the laptop and when I connect the hub, the hub keeps dangling awkwardly. Had to go with 0.5 M extension cable! I will update this review if this fails in less than 3 years!

It meets my expectation and working well. Though had a challenge using it on a win 11 pc

Product is functioning only for those laptop who have C-type pin for display only.

This device is super slim and worker perfectly for what I needed it for. Connectied my microSD and microSD adapter, keyboard and mouse combo, HDMI and USB-C to charge my phone. This thing is sweet.

Ich nutze den Anker USB-C Hub nun seit mehreren Wochen an meinem MacBook Pro (M1) und bin insgesamt sehr zufrieden mit der Leistung und dem Funktionsumfang. ✅ Vorteile: Umfangreiche Anschlussmöglichkeiten: Der Hub bietet 8 Anschlüsse, darunter HDMI (4K bei 60 Hz), Ethernet, USB-C (10 Gbps), zwei USB-A-Ports (ebenfalls 10 Gbps), SD- und microSD-Kartenleser sowie einen USB-C-PD-Eingang für bis zu 100 W Ladeleistung. Kompaktes Design: Mit seinem schlanken und leichten Gehäuse passt der Hub problemlos in jede Laptoptasche und eignet sich ideal für den mobilen Einsatz. Zuverlässige Leistung: In Tests erreichte der Ethernet-Port die beworbenen 1 Gbps, und die USB-Ports lieferten stabile Datenübertragungsraten. ⚠️ Nachteile: Eingeschränkte Ladeleistung: Obwohl der Hub mit 100 W Power Delivery beworben wird, stehen dem angeschlossenen Gerät effektiv nur 85 W zur Verfügung, da 15 W für den Betrieb des Hubs reserviert sind. Für leistungshungrige Laptops könnte dies knapp werden. Wärmeentwicklung: Bei intensiver Nutzung, insbesondere beim Anschluss mehrerer Geräte, kann der Hub spürbar warm werden. Dies ist zwar nicht ungewöhnlich, sollte aber berücksichtigt werden. Insgesamt aber ein Top Gerät, was alle meine Anforderungen erfüllt.

So far, it's been a great product. It's practical, works out of the box and just makes sense to have.

Doet exact wat het zegt te doen! Wissel eenvoudig tussen werk en prive laptop omdat ik de hub aan mijn bureau heb gemonteerd en enkel de USB-C kabel hoef te wisselen tussen beiden.

I’ve been using this Anker 8-in-1 docking station for a little while now, and honestly, it’s been a great upgrade for my setup. The dual HDMI ports work perfectly with my two monitors, and both displays look sharp in 4K. Plug-and-play was super easy — my laptop recognized everything right away. The hub itself feels sturdy and well-made, and it doesn’t take up much space on my desk. I also like that it has all the essential ports I need, so I’m not constantly unplugging and replugging things. My only small complaints are that it gets a bit warm when I’m running both monitors for a long time, and I wish the USB ports were spaced out a little more. Not huge issues, but worth mentioning. Overall, if you want a simple, reliable docking station for dual monitors, this one is a great choice. I’m happy with it and would definitely recommend it.
