I love their books for this level of piano skills. I’m a beginner, not far from intermediate, but want to play songs that don’t sound like a beginner. There is a nice range of difficulty levels and music variety

I have really enjoyed playing these songs. They are all old favorites and just the right difficulty as I return to playing the piano now that I am retired and have more time for music.

I love this book! So many great songs, variety of types of songs, and arranged for late beginner/intermediate players. I am buying another one to ship to my son’s house so I can play it there when visiting.

A good collection intended to introduce the early player into the peripheral of the intermediate. Some are very easy but carefully arranged. Many will require thorough study but the majority sound just great. A good collection and highly recommended.

I like how this book increases the difficulty page by page, with some songs presenting a bigger challenge that took me weeks to improve. But after working through them you have a new skill and capability on the keyboard.

I thought this book had great songs to play and is easy to play for a beginner like me.

This is a great book for grownups. I started lessons as an adult and found that many books for adults either have songs that are Disney or songs that are too old. This book has a good mixture of songs, both in skill level and music era. I have used this book a ton. Only one or two of the songs are duds but not enough to lose a star. Great book with good arrangements.

I have loved both this book and also the first book of the series. I only wish there was a third book to follow on. My slow learning of the piano in my sixties has been greatly enhanced by these books which are written for adult learners. I came to my online piano tutor part way through book 2 so she got one for herself and has liked it so much she now steers other pupils towards it and recommends it to other teachers. I have self-paced my way through as I am not learning for exams and whilst the theory is healthily challenging at times I have made steady progress with developing skills and technique and can now attempt Grade 2 and 3 pieces. There is a good mix of modern and classical tunes which are adapted where necessary to suit the level being taught. New concepts are introduced in a logical way and the spiral binding makes the books easy to use. The associated online PianoPlayer app is a marvellous resource to enhance the learning experience of the books. The support books of classical, pop or Christmas music are also excellent to use alongside the main books. I thoroughly recommend the whole Adult Piano Adventures series. The availability of more advanced level to the series would make it even more wonderful.
