It works if you work it!
Lost 7 pounds by drinking this for 5 days. I added 8-10 scoops of Almased with 6 oz of vanilla soy milk, 3x/day. It does work, and surprisingly the taste is palpable. On occasion I'd have a banana or a small bowl of plain popcorn between lunch and dinner. Great way to start the new year! Will be doing this again in January.

Easy to mix and satisfying
This shipment arrived on time and was very well packaged. Thank you. I found it easy to mix and was surprised at how filling my first shake was. My appetite was noticeably lessened. I have had no unpleasant side effects from using this product and I'm very satisfied with the purchase.

Worse off after taking
I gained 2 pounds and blood sugar was up over 100 points after 1 week taking product 3 times a day and supplementing with vegetable juice, as instructed. Total waste of money, and I'm worse off than when I started.

Expensive
It's expensive. The instructions are not clear on how much a can relates to as in how many shakes per can.

Keeps you full with no cravings
This is the first protein powder that I have found that has no artificial sweetners like aspartame, sucralose or stevia. These are ingredients that can adversely affect your metabolism and liver function over time. It also does not contain monkfruit extract, which I find to have an awful aftertaste similar to artificial sweetners and is highly processed. So this was a plus for me. I decided to buy the almond vanilla flavored mix. My husband and I have healthy appetites with a terrible sweet tooth, constantly craving sweet or savory snacks in the evening. I can honestly say that when you drink this shake you feel full and get no cravings. We were so surprised. When we first started the 3 day detox period, we adhered strictly to the recommended serving size, however, after a couple of days (seeing how quickly the powdered finished and how expensive it is) we decided to use the 8 scoop portion. We mix it with half filtered water, half skim milk, and some ice. We had the same results...no hunger nor cravings. After 3 days we started incorporating a meal at lunch and sometimes breakfast as well. We ate high fiber items, because that is the one main thing missing in this powder. As a result, if you don't incorporate high fiber, you will get constipated. One thing that we started using was Chía seeds, but be mindful. Chia seeds should NEVER be consumed without soaking them in water for a few hours. We prep a full day's portion the night before and keep it in the fridge. It's been 2 weeks and I have lost 7 lbs and my husband lost 10 lbs. So far so good. We plan on sticking with this until we reach our goals...it's going to be a while. So to recap: Pros: Feel full, curbs cravings, lose weight Cons: Constipation (No fiber whatsoever), expensive PS One complaint to the vendor is that part of my product came in damaged containers that were not damaged by the shipper. They were damaged at the point of origin and packed anyway. That is not fair, as this is a comestible item and therefore not returnable. Why should the customer eat the cost for damages caused at the warehouse???
