Cisco Compliant Power Supply (CP-PWR-CUBE-3)

I'm using this to power a CISCO 7940 IP Phone. It works great, and came with both the power supply brick, and a three prong cord to connect it to the wall outlet.EDIT 06-OCT-2013:I've had this for 3-1/2 years. Recent items under this title must be cheap knockoffs. My item in 2010 was the real deal and is still working great.

While it's not an original power supply, it works fine for my Cisco 7962. Also doesn't get near as hot as the official cisco power brick my other 7962 has.

Works without problems on the Cisco 7941 phone I needed it for. Reasonable build quality, does not "feel" to be the same quality as the Cisco units i have used in the past, FWIW.

These power supplies are what you should come to expect nowadays in a typical cheaper Chinese made knockoff. They're OK. The only issue I had was that one of the power supplies came with a power cord for some eastern European country, and I'm in the USA. Luckily the cords are the standard type that you use with computers and most pro network equipment, so I had a spare lying about... Only had the supplies for a few days so I can't mention yet reliability. They are working fine so far to power Cisco "side car" phone expansion modules. (7215).

I bought this power supply for a Cisco Aironet 1300 AP (which it claims to support). It arrived quicked but did not power the AP properly (lights kept cycling). I ended up buying a different PS which worked fine.

I purchased two of these and one of them makes a whistling sound when plugged in. The supplies I received were NOT Cisco OEM. They were very cheap, light, Chinese knockoff's.

Unit arrived earlier than listed, operates totally satisfactorily.
