If you have a slow cooker, this is the easiest thing to make. There were a number of beans and if you add a meat to it, you have a wonderful beans, stew or a chili. The seasoning packet was sufficient, but you can always add more items if you’d like. I highly recommend this product.

This was the BEST ham and bean soup that I have ever made. I did ad an extra chopped onion. 3 stalks of celery and 2 medium carrots when I added the tomatoes and I DID use the seasonings that came with the beans. I used my ham bone left from Christmas with a nice amount of ham left on it. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars Is because of the price. I’m not used to paying that much for beans but I WILL do it again for these beans. Yum!!!

Every fall, after we have a big ham for Thanksgiving, I make a huge pot of soup for us and the neighbors. Lots of meat, lots of onion, green sweet pepper and a few cloves of garlic, crushed San Marzano tomatoes and my famou Zing-Zang bloody mary mix, I use two bacs of the bean. Rinse and soak overnight. Cook them long and slow, the taste is fantastic, the variety is noteworthy, and they don't turn to mush. They are fantastic.

Every year after the holiday ham, I make this soup and drop the ham bone loaded with trimmings into the soup and slow cook it. The meat falls off the bone. I usually pull out the chunks, and bone and chop the meat into small soup sized chunks so the ham flavor is in every bite. The ham packet included adds a lot as well but only put that in at the end. I promise everyone loves this soup.

Makes a good multi bean soup with chopped onion and celery, a little ham, and chicken bullion. More expensive than single bean options, but tastes good.

These were great a little pricy , but a great product! My husband just loved the soup ! I did add some ham. All you need is there even without the ham.
