This item has been very helpful to evaluate the quality of metals that are in my jewelry..Some items, such as rings or large pendants are hard to assess because they do not fit in the "well"..A scratch stone would be better for larger pieces..All in all worth the purchase price. Easy to use..

Hard to use if you have arthritis in your fingers I requested a return for the second on I bought but they keep saying there is 2 coming I only bought 2 not 3 ch your records As of 2/6/2022 NO REFUND YET they did refund it one the first one but not the second one.
