I saw this knife on Instagram and it looks so unique I had to buy one. The blade feels very sharp out of the box. The blade has a layer of oil on it so make sure to wash it before first use. There are no imperfections like scratches or chips. The wooden handle has a very nice finish on it. It looks like a hardwood. It comes with a beautiful leather sheath (with a loop for your belt) to protect it when not in use. I highly recommend it for you guys and gals that like cooking outside...or inside.😃

Decided to try this knife after watching YouTube and several cooking shows. This style of blade was used by several Chef's. I found this one at what I considered a decent price. I can see spending several hundred dollars for a knife when I am not a professional nor desire to be. I used it the first night it arrived after a good hand wash I quickly used it to dispatch veggies for a salad. For it weight it easily sliced through carrots, bell peppers and tomatoes. Even the wife was impressed which is why I will have to hide it from her. Today we are are doing chicken wings and look forward to seeing how it performs as a cleaver. As of now I would recommend this knife for the weekend chef.

Feels ok to use minus the cheap handle. Heavy use would probably break it. Edge was uneven in a few places. Overall it works. Probably worth the money

I love to cook but struggle with cutlery. Until discovering this knife, I found most kitchen knives dull after a very short time. This knife fits well in my hand and the blade has maintained a sharp edge.
