Great! Have info and tips
Got this product to replace another brand that coagulated together in a huge mass. This makes a smooth smoothie, which is delicious. Something I wanted to mention is that this is already sweetened. I usually add my own sweetener to my smoothies. The good thing is that it’s sweetened with stevia, which is a great natural sugar alternative that works for me. Anything manipulated chemically gives me a giant headache, even if it starts out with natural ingredients. Stevia remains stevia, so I can handle it, but the taste/sweetness seems stronger to me than sugar, or the honey I usually put in my smoothies. Stevia can have a minty aftertaste, but this product does not. Per serving, which is 2 scoops (scoop comes inside the package), the protein powder has 13 g carbs, 3 of which are fiber. That’s a pretty low amount. The smoothies I’ve made with this product are initially a little too sweet for me personally, but they’re so delicious otherwise that I’ve found ways to make them less sweet. In some cases, like a mango smoothie, I’ve added a 1/4 teaspoon of salt. Today, I made a banana smoothie using the protein powder, 8 oz flax seed milk, a little pineapple aloe water, 4 ice cubes, a banana, and nutmeg. My stomach was bothering me (reasons unrelated to this product) and the smoothie was too sweet, so I added a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar. Still sweet, but close to just right and quite tasty. The consistency is very creamy and there isn’t a lot of residue on my glass as compared to other protein powders. The information on the back of the product says the entire package equals 12 servings, but I use 1-1/2 scoops - less than the company suggests - to reduce the sweetness. It still tastes great and gives me an amount of protein I’m happy with. Since 2 scoops equals 20 grams, 1-1/2 would be about 15 grams of protein. My purchase will also go a little farther using 1-1/2 scoops. I plan on buying this again when the bag is finished. Even though I usually add my own sweetener, since stevia works for me and this doesn’t have an aftertaste, this works for my needs. I drink a lot of smoothies because I eat a vegetarian diet and am often low on protein, so I need a protein powder that’s healthy and tastes great. This one does that. Happy customer.

Interesting flavor, not bad.
I’m glad I got this and tried it. The flavor is unlike anything I’ve ever tried, but not bad.. haha I don’t crave it (like I used to crave orgain b/c of the artificial sweetener) so that’s probably good, I also don’t dread it. Kind of neutral, but flavorful at the same time 😆 You can taste the cinnamon more than the chocolate. Odd. I decided to do one scoop of this and one scoop of my other chocolate protein powder (just ingredients) and they tasted good together. It didn’t overwhelm the other’s flavor. I felt good after drinking it. No sugar crashes or shakiness that can sometimes happen to me after other powders. Overall good quality.

From Whey to Plant-Based: A Textural and Taste Transition
I wanted to try a plant based protein powder as opposed to my daily Jay Robb's whey protein powder. Every morning, I whisk my protein in yoghurt, liquid, together with chia seeds and a serving of psyllium husk and then if I want it, I will then mix in some diced fruit That is my morning breakfast. Switching to plant based from my normal Jay Robb, I have noticed that a single serving of plant protein is 25% (or 38g v 30g) more than a single serving of whey protein powder. This is a significant reason why I need more liquid to obtain the same consistency post whisking. I've also noticed that the plant based protein is more cohesive than the whey powder so it takes more effort and more liquid to "dissolve" the powder. Second, flavorless plant based protein is not truly flavorless in its definition. There is a product taste which, since I am coming off of a truly flavorless whey powder, surprised me. However, seeing that I using the powder as a function of need, I will get used to it after a week or so. Not a big deal. The powder doesn't dissolve completely. Like others have mentioned, there is a grainy texture that leaves a layer on your teeth. Since I am eating this at home for breakfast, after I'm done, I simply brush my teeth and use mouth wash before heading out the door. Not really a deal breaker for me. All in all, it's different from my whey powder but I chose to take a plant based powder for a reason so I know I will get used to this and will keep the switch.

I’m still recovering.
Let me set the scene: It was a bright Monday morning. I had decided to finally turn my life around—clean eating, gym, hydration, the whole wellness package. I bought this Plant Based Protein & Superfoods Powder thinking it was the missing link between me and my future six-pack. The packaging looked promising: organic, vegan, gluten-free, non-GMO, sugar-free. Basically, sainthood in powder form. I blended one scoop with some almond milk, added a banana, and maybe whispered a prayer. Then I took a sip. Friends. I have licked chalkboards that tasted better. It was as if a broccoli had a midlife crisis and tried to reinvent itself as a smoothie. The texture? Like wet drywall. The aftertaste? Imagine what despair tastes like—now make it earthy. But I was committed. I told myself, "You're just being dramatic. One more sip." So I took another. And that's when my dog, who had been watching me curiously, actually left the room. She sensed the danger. I gagged. My eyes watered. I questioned every life decision that led me to this moment. My blender is still in the sink, untouched, as if it's too traumatized to be cleaned. I’ve started calling it “the incident.” Does it have clean ingredients? Absolutely. Does it mix well? Sure. Does it taste like the inside of a compost bin marinated in gym socks? Without a doubt. If you have absolutely no taste buds and a will of steel, maybe this is for you. But as for me? I’m going back to my regular protein powder and reevaluating my entire existence.

I have been using Sprout Living protein powder for many years and in my opinion it is the best. Clean ingredients, not gritty of chalky and provides a good boost of protein. I use it daily in my protein shakes. I highly recommend!

I absolutely love Sprout Living protein powders. They aren't full of fillers and they taste amazing! Great on their own as a shake or mixed in a Smoothie. The coffee flavor doesn't disappoint.

Buena cantidad de proteína por medida. Sabe feo...o raro. Espesa mucho. Pero sirve.
