While this definitely does trim your buds, it also seems to do quite a bit of damage to them in the process. My buds started out covered in trichomes and ended up with most of those either stuck to the grill, or in the trimmings down below. Little buds got cut up to nothing, and larger buds seemed to get jammed against the outside of the dome, rolling over and over and getting whatever end faced in trimmed a lot, with the upended end not trimmed at all. This despite frequently reversing direction to try and unstick them. Also, even if you spread all the buds out, they quickly get piled on top of each other. All in all, I'm not going to use this very often and, when I do, probably only for the buds that are going to get processed further into edibles or vapes. It's DEFINITELY NOT for your prized "trophy" buds.

Eats up a LOT of your product. Came bent and had to spend a good hour trying to get the blade to lay flat under the grate. Doesn’t beat up the trichomes nearly as much as I thought it would, but I’d guess my yield was reduced by 25% or more, with way too much ending up in the bowl(lots of killer trim that I’d rather have as usable product). If it’s smaller than a golf ball or so, it won’t make it past a few turns and ends up as blended trim gumming up the moving parts. Ended up with 12z product, had 4z in the trim bowl. I wouldn’t buy it again. Only plus side is that it turned 8 hours into 2 hours, but at the cost of 4zips...

Love mine. i've used it every year since 2016. No problems. It does tumble the buds to trim them. But DO NOT just discard the shake that falls thru the grate. This is still good bud (just remove any large fan leaves before you trim). I have friends who prefer to smoke this shake because the buzz is a bit milder. It is also great for making butter or tinctures. I do about 30 plants a year for myself and my friends.

Just received unit first no serrated blade, 2nd two wire connected in center with washer no instructions as to what they are for and no information as to there functions. Only instructions just " Flower trimmer operating instructions " . Very disappointed...... Contacted seller they were very accommodating and offered refund to buy the missing blades, have now used machine work great like some else said you do lose product, but what's leftover can go thru by hand and use for butter or whatever, it's not wasted. As for the seller I would give there customer service 5 stars, Reason I gave 4 stars for package not complete.

The media could not be loaded.  We only grow autoflower but this baby works as advertised. Sure you’ll lose some product if your buds are small. We make our own edibles, so the product that falls into the bottom, isn’t wasted for us.

It takes time to get the feeling and understanding. May need some tweeking and don't over do it. Think of it as a clean up trim on lots of budsat the same time. It does save lots of time but it can hurt the size if you keep triming.
