VitaCup Perfect Low Acid Coffee Beans, USDA Organic & Fair Trade, Mycotoxin F...

The idea of low-acid coffee was a new concept to me, but a friend suggested I try this coffee since he knows how much I love my coffee. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. I like my coffee with both sugar and half&half, and I often find I'm using more sugar with some coffees versus others. This time, I used the same amount of sugar that I use in my morning coffee, and brewed it with a filter-drip coffee maker that grinds the beans automatically and immediately before brewing. To my surprise, this cup was too sweet, so it's must be the acidity that's causing me to use more sugar. That's a bonus from several perspectives. Diabetes runs in my family, however I'm not currently showing any signs of blood sugar issues, but cutting down on sugar can't be a bad thing. The flavor is somewhat milder than I'm accustomed to, as I like dark roasts, but this was both flavorful and smooth, with a gentle, pure coffee aroma, coupled with hints of caramel and vanilla. The scent of the unground beans we wasn't as bold as I typically expect, but the finished product didn't disappoint. The packaging is very appealing. The matte green and gold labeling and text on a matte white background is warm and inviting, with a certain natural, premium feel, and coencides with the message and objective of VitaCup, being fair-trade, organic and free of pesticides. The minimal use of glossy print, the sample cup of coffee, the words "PERFECT COFFEE", and the "SINGLE ORIGIN DARK ROAST" labels is eye-catching but not overbearing. The lack of flashy colors or cartoon-like graphics gives it a more serious and mature feel. I like the punch-list on one side, covering all the major selling points. I suffer from heartburn at times, and now I'm thinking it may be the acid in my coffee. It will be interesting to see how my body reacts to this low-acidity going forward. I am looking forward to making this coffee a part of my daily routine going forward and hope the experiences only get better.

LOVE these coffee beans. These make a nice cup(s)--crisp, 'clean,' aromatic, medium bold, low-acid black coffee. TIP: Take the time to patiently pulse grind these coffee beans (using a coffee grinder or blender attachment), and gently use a French Press. Skip all of the added sugar/sweetener and cream/milk. Sit down, pour, and... Ahhhh... relax. VitaCup is just PERFECT, as is!

Comparing this to my favs Lavazza & Illy dark roast. Coffee beans are dark in color but only provide light - medium roast quality in strength. I've even doubled on the amount of grounds normally use to try to get the brew darker/stronger and it doesn't work. The coffee is VERY smooth & GENTLE on the stomach so it truly is low acid. Taste good and smell is okay.

I really enjoy the flavor of this coffee.

This product is not bad, but not great. It is only lower in acid, and the beans are roasted too much, which gives them a slight bitter taste

I could not drink but a sip or two of coffee because of acidity and I realize now because most of the coffees I probably drank weren't clean (pesticides and other junk). This coffee was the game changer for me. Low acid and clean. I now can drink 3/4 cups a day.

I love this smooth tasty coffee! I've tried many different brands of coffee, the brand before this coffee was LIFEBOOST coffee OPTIMIST LIGHT ROAST GROUND. And it's not a bad coffee, but it gave me heart burn sometimes and it claimed to be low acid too. Everyone has different taste, and I just prefer the taste of PERFACT COFFEE the best out of several others I tried in the last 6 months. It's not bitter and it is smooth, one of the smoothest I've ever tried. and it doesn't give me heartburn!

My favorite coffee! You can make it as strong as needed, it’s full of flavor, arrived fresh, the tasting smooth and it arrives whole bean so we can grind fresh as needed. I have this on automation because I like the fact that it is organic and low acid. The strength of the coffee is perfect and it is a smooth cup of coffee without being weak.
