Having never had a yoga mat before, I was not sure what to expect. I definitely wasn't sure how much good it would do with my plus size body. I am so pleased with it, I am getting one for my husband. It provides an amazing amount of cushion, is long enough for my entire length and then some. New to yoga, I feel the width helps guide me spatially. The most surprising thing though was that having accidentally exposed it to a rain storm, it held up just fine. I woke to find it on my deck with water on top and not soaked in. Not that I plan on doing hot yoga, but that gives me confidence this mat could handle the sweat if I did.

I find this mat a little funny, it is really padded and nice if you're doing some indoor low intensity workouts or stretching. This mat is not meant for your average sweater. I workout 4-5 days a week, with a mix of indoor/ outdoor workouts. Mainly containing of interval or circuit training. If you sweat your little touche off, you're going to be sliding all over this mat if you're trying to get any type of grip with your hands. Push ups, burpees, planks, anything, your sweating, you slide. I am sad it does't work for my regular workouts, will have to invest in a different mat that handles perspiring better.

I finally caved and bought a "real" yoga mat after moving into a house with hardwood floors (was previously on carpet so I just went with the flow). I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg for something I was going to be abusing for yoga and workouts... and from my search I saw some mats for quite a high price. I'm glad I went with this one because not only is the extra thickness good on my hands (and knees, feet, back, etc) but after about a month of abuse it's still holding strong. I did experience a strange smell from the mat when I first received it - however, after letting it air out a bit the smell went away.

I wish I had not waited so long to use this. If I had used it even once in the window of time to send it back, I would have.First of all, it's too thick in a very supportive way. It is impossible to balance on it because it is spongy and gives under your feet.Any post that has a lunge or a standing split is impossible on this too, because it stretches. You start in one split and it puts you in a much deeper one as the mat gives way in both directions.I will probably give this to my dog as a dog bed, because that's very much all it's good for.

The mat I ordered was supposed to be half an inch thick. This mat is barely more than a quarter inch. I could have purchased a thin mat locally. Now I've got to drive over an hour to get something I can actually use, since there were unnecessary delivery delays and I'm out of time. Do not waste your time if you need a mat that is actually a half inch thick.

I ordered this yoga mat because I have had terrible back and knee pain, and have enrolled in a Pilates course to try and alleviate this pain. I used a rental mat for my first course and all I can say is OUCH! For anyone that is particularly sensitive around their knee joints or their tailbone, this is definitely the mat for you. It’s the perfect amount of thickness and comfort, and its thickness also lends itself well to being rolled up on one end to sit on (like a pillow) for forward folds if you have painfully tight hamstrings like I do. Others in the class have to sit on their sweaters and scarves while I get to enjoy a comfy yoga mat :) I would totally recommend this to anyone in the market for a new exercise mat, or anyone that is a little bonier/skinny (I don’t have much tailbone padding anymore) or if suffering from routine joint pain that comes with age, like my grandma. She’s getting one next 😇 Extra bonus, it’s a super cute color!

In a quick scan of reviews I saw a comment or two about an odor, but others said theirs was fine so I took the leap. The mat arrived in great shape and fully enclosed in a tight clear wrap. I unrolled it and put some objects on the highly curled ends so I could use it later in the day. When I tried to lie on it the odor was overwhelming. I placed clothing under my head to not transfer that smell to my hair. Afterwards, I placed a fresh charcoal filter that's great for freshening closets right next to it. No improvement overnight. I then put it outside for a half day. When I brought it in, it had not improved and it was the first thing I smelled in the morning when I entered the large living space. So, this morning I put it back outside, until high winds forced it back inside. I recently dealt with a shower curtain that took a week to dissipate its pool toy smell and a table protector that spent time outside before Thanksgiving dinner. Neither of those products were as stubborn to release odor or as repungent. I find this odor more on the order of a dead animal smell than a manufacturing/chemical smell. If this eventually turns out to be the best mat on the planet, I'll write an update. For now I'll be busy trying to find the most out of the way place to stash it until it decides to "lighten up."

This was extremely comfortable to use. I purchased this so I could start doing yoga in my home, and was happy to see that it did not slide around whatsoever, even on my carpet. It is a little more bulky than I expected, but that was just my expectations being used to other yoga mats that I've seen. This is substantially thicker than others I've seen in stores, but is also substantially more comfortable.

The exercise mat is comfortable/spongy, but not over-spongy, and the blue colour is classy looking (for some reason, it is difficult in getting a blue-coloured exercise mat). I am impressed. I am using mine for doing fat-burning home exercises, but it can also be used for doing yoga, pilates, etc. This specific brand/make of exercise mat also got good reviews from other Internet sources, hence I bought it over other brands/makes. Highly recommended.

Doesn't live up to the description at all: the "integrated carry strap" is nothing but a couple of elastic loops stitched to another length of elastic, so not at all "integrated"; the "specially designed memory foam" didn't seem to have much of a memory - though the mat I received had pressure marks from some kind of weight and simply would NOT lay flat! Finally, the "the non-slip surface" that "grips the floor to prevent injuries" didn't...at all.Returned for a full refund.

Although I don't have much experience owning fitness mats, this one is exactly what I was hoping for. The thickness and comfort is great for doing sit-ups etc on my hardwood floors and I love the colour (I went for purple).I read several reviews for different mats that mentioned a horrible chemical smell but was happy to find this one didn't smell at all and overall it seems great quality and a very fair price. I also love the carry handle, which keeps it neat for packing away.Overall a great product & I would highly recommend

Absolutely thrilled with this mat. I had a really thin yoga mat which although OK was uncomfortable when having to kneel. So after searching the internet, mainly Amazon, and reading all the comments, I chose this mat. It is perfect and I can now do all my yoga with comfort. A lovely range of colours and I am really pleased with the purple, which is exactly as shown on the picture. Delivery was prompt, I would definitely recommend this mat to anyone one looking for a thicker mat. Well worth the money!

I was looking for a mat that won't slip as I have lino flooring and this doesn't slip, well not easily anyway. It's very comfy to work out on (I use it for pilates) and there have been a few times I've fallen on my hip and it cushioned my fall nicely xD It doesn't have a strange smell to it and it's easily stored. It's like working out on memory foam and I'd be lying if I said I haven't thought about sleeping on it.

I would like to inform you that I am very satisfied with my purchase and quick delivery. It is the perfect thickness and gives me precisely the right support when exercising. It comes with straps so you can roll it up and carry it with you. Once rolled out, it stays flat and what's nice is it doesn't slide about. There were lots of lovely colours to choose from; I went for the blue, very pleased and highly recommend this exercise mat.

This mat is lovely and thick - much softer on my spine than the standard yoga mats. Feels like really great quality. Only used it once so far but no complaints. Delivery was quick.

This was bought as a gift for a friend and she loves it. The mat is good quality, and thicker, and therefore gives more comfort than any I've seen on sale, plus it has the added bonus of a holder. All in all I'm pleased with my purchase.

Delivery was excellent. The thickness of the mat is very good and not thin like some others you get, I only wish that it was longer as I am 6ft, but am happy with the mat. Also like having the strap for transporting it. Would definitely recommend.

This mat is just what I needed as a newbie to Pilates. My yoga mat was not nearly padded enough. This one was a good price and is very comfortable so no need to double up or to use anything else for extra cushioning. The grey is a lovely colour. One slight issue was that the elastic that goes round the mat when rolled up that forms the carry handle is a bit loose and has a tendency to slide off but this was easily rectified by tying knots in each loop.

Great Item, despatched fast, well padded and used firstly as a sleep mat by my 7 yr old but will eventually be used by me for Yoga - it's lovely and thick. The elastic strap used to carry and hold it rolled up is great too. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending.

Exactly as described and in good condition. I wasn't sure if the mat's thickness would be comfortable for certain stretches (ones which put pressure on the knees) compared to other 1.5cm products, but the material is nice and springy (without squashing too much) so seems pretty comfortable so far. I didn't encounter much of a smell either, as some of the other reviews mentioned.

Exactly what I was looking for. The matt is extra, so really happy that my whole body can be on the matt instead of just a part. The right thickness as well: thick enough so you don't feel the floor anymore but then again not too thick that you fall into the matt making it perfect still to do all my excersises. The strap is also good - could even hang it on my shoulder when I was cycling: comfortable. Would def recommend!

This is a thicker-than-average yoga mat which is what I was looking for. I've only used it once but it was fine and it's a nice blue. Seller was also very good with super fast delivery!

I'm using this for outdoor boot camp and it's great. Great length so no more cold wet legs! great thickness too, can't feel the rough ground underneat. Interested to see how long it lasts on a rough surface but so far so good.
