It grows within a week
As you can see results are patchy because I spread it loosely rather than consciously. I used half of the sachet. Photos were taken a couple of days apart from each other. It took a couple of days to start sprouting but within a week I started adding a bit of water just to check if they little plants had rooted. I didn't see any of them floating so I have been adding water slowly.

This product is not good for aquariums.
I bought these small seeds to plant in my aquarium. After almost a week of germinating them, I never saw any roots or sprouts. When I tried to remove them from the aquarium, they had a glue-like residue that prevented me from removing or cleaning the substrate. I lost the substrate and had no germinated seeds, unlike what I saw in the photos and reviews posted here... I should add that after rinsing the substrate with just water to remove the sticky seeds that wouldn't come off, I tried using vinegar or lemon as a natural product, which I would then rinse off before putting it back in my aquarium, but even then the sticky seeds wouldn't come off, not even with hot water.

Don't listen to the bad reviews!!
Recently I decided I to set up another tank in my house had a 4ft tank in my livingroom with false plants and decided it was time to try a fully live planted setup, After reading the reviews I was seriously sceptical but for £4 I thought it was worth the gamble and I am so glad I did, This has turned my tank from boring to awesome to the point where ive not brought more of the small double leaves and also the long hairy grass to give a go with, Yes they are very messy to begin with and sort of gel up the tank water for a few days but once the cloudiness and jelly settles it clears up nicely (my only issue now if the tanning from the drift wood but that's nothing to do with the seeds) however I would like to point out i am a very strong believer that the plants are removing alot of the tannings my water is almost crystal clear and they have sprouted very well Now to how I planted them I used a 60-40 black gravel-sand mix laid down about 1.6 inches of substrate, lightly misted it all then sprinkled the seeds all over where I wanted them followed by another light misting of water to which I did 2/3 times a day for the first 2 days gradually making the misting heavier, 3rd day I had a couple of tiny sprouts litterally 1 or 2 4th day I noticed about 8/10 sprouts and decided to "flood" my tank with about half an inch of water covering the seeds and left it 6th day I noticed about 60% had sprouted so I added my drift wood and topped the rest of the tank up We're on the 10th day as im writing this and as you can see from the photo 90+ percent of the seeds have sprouted and there really vibrant in colour i would highly recommend them to anyone hence why I brought more plus some of the long hairy grass yesterday 😊

Not a bad purchase
The grass has grown really well. Quite long. The only slight downside is I wouldn’t say it grew as quickly as I’d of thought. Around a week and a half to two weeks for growth. Probably could of done with 2 packets for a thicker layer of grass

The Green, Green, Grass of Home...
I am looking foward to growing this lovely grass in my new aquarium... it will make the aquarium look natural, and will be a good hiding place for my fishy friends.... and will also help brighten my sittingroom... UPDATE:- Friday 5th December 2025... Past 2-3days, update.... I used entire packet of grass seeds, sprinkled into my Tetra 30 litre fish tank - no water...dry substrate, then covered with neon gravel and white sand, and, some sea shells and plastic flowers for added decoration.... Absolutely chuffed with the results... I also included some 2xleaf/3xleaf grass, which hasn't made an appearance yet.....but here's hoping.... Substrate water misted every day, and covered with cling film, pierced for ventilation when misted tank gets too humid... Today... 10 dec 2025.... **Update** 9 Jan 2026.... Grass beginning to die off... turning off yellow/white colour and getting thinner.. My 2 leaf little plants coming alonf nicely and I have noticed a few 3-4 leaf straglers starting to makw an appearance.... So lets wait and see what happens....

PATIENCE IS THE KEY! Worth a Try!
Mine took a while to germinate (day 5) but then took off. I flooded my tank on day 13 as I have to put transfer my fishes soon but happy with the result. Would have given 4 but wasn't as think as I was expecting but it would have if I have just waited a week more! PATIENCE IS THE KEY AND KEEP MISTING EVERYDAY AND COVER WITH CLINFLIM!

Looking good so far
Well they are growing nicely. Start growing just with a water spraying on top. Don't use to much water. And seeds start sprouting as soon as i place them close to a radiator. I'll update latet after filling up tank with water
