The quality runs high with this rug, but you will definitely need a pad that will hold it in place. Otherwise it will slide like crazy. Out of the package the rug has folds/wrinkles but they go away in a matter of hours -- all except the four corners that insist on curling upward. I used some triangle-shaped grippers on the corners and it was immediately successful in keeping the corners flat. Result? Perfection. The quality runs high and the color is so beautiful and calming I ordered two more rugs just like it: one for my bedroom and the other for my dining room. I bought the 5'x7' size because that's a size I can handle at my advanced age with my weak muscles. Anything bigger would have been too much of a challenge. Update: The second of the three rugs I've ordered arrived and I was surprised to see there's a color (or intensity of color) difference between the two rugs. I'm posting a photo that shows how one room opens onto the other and you can see what i'm talking about. I don't mind it, but your mileage may differ. Also the second rug was not as easy lay flat. The corners need the grippers. I don't they ever would lose the upward curl without them. Update #2: Forget what I said about the color being wrong. It isn't. I discovered that the depth of color changes, depending on which end of the rug you're walking forward on. And the colors change throughout the day as sunlight comes into the rooms.

Der Teppich liegt bei uns seit etwa einem halben Jahr im Eingangsbereich vom Flur. Er ist an einer Stelle nicht 100% rund, aber das ist auch der einzige kleine Haken. Er riecht nicht und ist stabil.

Beautiful, but had to return didn't match my decor
