Rit Dye Liquid 236ml Scarlet

Beautiful product! Rich professional finish, best I’ve seen! Stained a Telecaster guitar body, looks like no other. Fantastic! They could charge a lot more for this. Be gentle and take your time with it for maximum results.

Brilliant, worked a treat on my husband's Fatface Airlie top - he'd got paint on it which I scubbed off with Vanish, which bleached a large area. I mixed a bit of this with a small amount of water and rubbed it all around the area as it's a multi-colour rugby top so couldn't put it in washing machine. I got the red and it's a lovely deep dark red which was a perfect match for the red in this rugby top. I then washed it on a fast 20 min wash at 30c and you wouldn't know it had ever been ruined by paint and bleach!! So impressed I'm going to buy more colours to see how it works in the washing machine

This is a good colour but it was hard for me to get the dye to be spread evenly. I was using it to try to cover a bleach stain which it wasn't able to fully do (however it does say on the packaging that it might not work on bleach stains.)

Best red I've used. I have used Dyson dye in the past but the red always comes out pink. This is a bright red, perfect for the crafts I needed it for, will definitely be buying again! So easy to use when following the directions on the bottle. When it was finished I couldn't be happier with the colour and look. You do have to be careful as it did dye anything it dripped onto but that was mainly me being clumsy!

I ordered this to dye a felt cow boy hat I used it quite unconventionally by watering down and using a paintbrush which worked out really well. Be sure to wear gloves as the product is very strong and will stain anything it comes in contact with. Once the hat was dry there was no transfer which was great however took a few coats and a long time to dry! I used under half of the bottle. The colour I would describe more as a wine/burgundy red but still beautiful.

Followed the instructions to the letter, rinsed in the washer then washed with detergent and wore, next wash it’s ruined 2 T-shirts and dyed white socks pink, the garments have been washed a total of 6 times, the last time with stain remover and STILL dye is coming out! So much so that the colour has faded so you can barely tell it’s dyed at all, absolutely wound not recommend, doesn’t even deserve one star!
