Abnormal Psychology (17th Edition)

I had to order this for a class but think that it also comes in handy for anyone who's interested in learning more about Abnormal Psychology (incl. eating disorders, mood disorders, anxiety, personality disorders, schizophrenia, etc.). It provides a great overview, talks about etiology, as well as treatments.

Another book for my curriculum.

The information given within the textbook has enlighten most of the behavioral psychological problem within certain cultural groups within a society. The abnormal behavioral psychological problems are dealing with other environmental factors in which is implemented into many and has been the attribute to their symptoms, The many in question has not been diagnosed with a disorder, however do in fact take prescribed and over the counter mediation for their symptoms. The needed treatment for many with abnormal behavioral psychological problems in which is displayed in society and will not be deemed socially acceptable by society, those individuals are required for their family members to place their loved one within crisis or behavioral hospital unit to begin treatment for their psychological well-being.

Received book before estimated time therefore was prepared for class. Content legible & relevant On the other hand, the text book is in very poor condition........ torn pages & torn out pages towards the back of the book.

I placed a rental order for the wrong edition of this book. Though edition 17 is the latest edition, my instructor listed edition 16 on the syllabus. I returned edition 17 to Amazon Rentals and reordered edition 16 to honor the syllabus specifications. When I got to class, the instructor was using the edition 17 book and all that edition's supplemental teaching resources. I specifically loved this Ala Carte Edition 17 because it was loose leaf. I had never had a loose leaf textbook before but will try to rent them whenever I can. Benefits of loose leaf are easier copying to highlight, take only the sections you need for a lighter load to carry, it appears to have larger and darker print.

Excellent book for PSYCH students and the textbook was shipped perfectly. They really care about shipping properly the book so can make it in perfect conditions to its arrival point. I was really impressed!!! Excellent job

A lot of highlighting done in book. Expect this since a rental however it’s distracting. Cover has few rips.

Even though I got this as a college textbook I learned so much from it. It not only has various disorders, descriptions, and information, but it also includes the DSM criteria for many of the disorders. It was really interesting.

Fürs Masterstudium Klinische Psychologie, super Buch! Top aufgebaut und verständlich erklärt.

Came in time, good condition, good quality, no page missing, and even though I bought it "Used - shows wear", it only had a few pencil underlining and a few pages of highlighting at the very beginning. Bought this for my S.O., who's doing a B.A. with honors in psychology, and she couldn't be happier with the price & product quality. Thank you! (Unfortunately I cannot personally comment on the content quality or reliability, as I didn't read it. However flipping through pages it looked like a standard colored textbook, and my S.O. says it's been useful in her courses. She won't resell it.)
