The product is easy to mix with my porridge and has no sugar.This new to me and currently I am using 1tsp with my porridge.

Jackfruit contains vitamin C, potassium, iron and fibre so helps with immunity and gut health. It has a pleasant taste and can also control blood pressure. This organic powder comes in a 250g size, you only need to add 5g or a teaspoon of the powder to your food of choice. Great in porridge, cereals and my husband particularly liked it when he added it to his breakfast of fruit, yogurt and muesli in-fact he’s a real convert to this product. It can also be used in baking which I haven’t tried yet.A good natural supplement to enhance health.

I had never tried jackfruit powder before, but when I read that it can help decrease blood sugar glycosylated haemoglobin (HbA1c) I was eager to get it for my partner who has just been told he is prediabetic with a HbA1c level of 6.For myself I need to lose some weight so it will be a help to me.I am surprised I had never heard of the benefits and versatility of this before, I needed to have a better intake of fibre, and this is perfect.Not only is it great because of the health benefits but it is a really handy ingredient to have in the kitchen, I found it is brilliant for thickening up smoothies, great to add to soup to thicken it up and it helps make pancakes stay flexible and in one piece. It can also be added to yoghurt, porridge and semolina, etc. I plan to add some to the next bread I make too.Like that this is organic and I would get it again.

I really love jackfruit but sadly its so difficult to get in the UK. You can sometimes buy Jackfruit in the can but it just isn't the same but this powder is surprisingly really good and tastes a lot like the real deal. If you are unsure what jackfruit actually tastes like, it is similar to banana and has a similar sweetness to pineapple and mango. It is a really unique fruit and this powdered form is very smooth and easy to add into various foods and recipes with ease. I personally add it to my morning porridges or occasional homemade smoothies. it adds some good fruit flavour and adds a boost of essential vitamins and goodness.
