Dentek Temparin Lost Filling Repair

This is the one you want. Tried other brands as I should've went to the dentist like a year ago for a lost filling. The other brand sucks. Doesn't stay. Tatse bad. And has kinda of milky substance when you're trying to put it in.. This one's good with none of that nonsense.

I had a filling fall out when I was in Guam for a few months. It was feasible to see a dentist but I didn't want to come home and find out I would need a root canal. I followed the directions and also made sure to clean my tooth really good before starting. I wanted to make sure all the food and germs were out and that I wasn't sealing anything in. It worked until I saw a dentist about 3 months later when I got home. My tooth didn't have any decay and I was able to easily get a new filling. I didn't make sure not to chew any food on that side though, I only needed one application

This is junk. Lasts all of thirty minutes and falls out.... save yourself the time and effort and just go to the dentist or deal with the pain or situation of a lost filling or whatever. This is only going to result in chalk in your mouth and down your throat and anywhere else but the filling you're trying to cover.

Got this to help with one lost filling and one broken tooth. The lost filling was the easy one, pretty much followed package directions and all was good. I used parchment paper to bite on the make the final imprint. Used the tool provided to tamp it down to make sure I got a good fit/fill and left no open spaces. Good news if that it has helped with the minor pain I was experiencing. The second, broken tooth, was not so good. It had broke in a way that left a sharp edge that was cutting into my cheek. I was able to fill the broken bit, but in trying to cover the sharp part, I didn't have much luck I got it to a point where I thought I'd let it set and then build on it. So after sleeping on it I again tried to add more putty to cover the area. I'd get it on there, let it set for a few hours and it would break off. So I came to the conclusion that you just can't build on the stuff after it's set. After a few days the silver filling seems to be holding, although has settled and could use a topping off, but I'm not sure that would work. The broken tooth held for a bit but seems to have broken down pretty quickly, and actually the last bit fell out this morning. So overall a decent product that can hold you over until your get to the dentist. This isn't meant for long term, despite what the package says.

Didn’t really hold. I followed the directions to a tee and it really didn’t hold that great. Had to keep redoing it like every few hours. Even if I hadn’t ate anything. I guess I was expecting more.

Best stuff around. Lasts a good long while as long as you are eating sticky taffy or chewing gum. Lasts for several weeks. Has saved me from going to the dentist for a while.

I have used this product a lot over the years, whenever in lose a filling or need a repair this comes to my rescue until I can get to a dentist. Easy to apply and stops the pain and sensitivity almost instantly. I wouldn’t be without a oack in the cupboard for emergencies, something I’ve been very thankful for previously.

Git this as a "just in case" item while travelling overseas. Hoping that if I loose a filling or break a tooth ,this will suffice until I get home . Hope I never need it
