These are great tips and I trust the Amazon seller to provide real ones - not counterfeit. One problem with any soft tip is that they mushroom right after installation, but cleaning that up after a week or so of play generally helps the tip keep its shape for a long time. So if that happens, it is not something to be alarmed about.

Tips are very personal and don't always involve performance differences so much as brand loyalty or just using what your favorite pro likes. Sometimes it's also about cost. I came to Kamui because my cue, a Players HXT, came with one (though not the clear) and I liked how it performed. The clear version, I use a soft, lasts me over a year with regular maintenance. They don't tend to mushroom, at least not any of the ones I've used. Bottom line is personal preference. Try finding someone using one and see if they'll let you try it out.

Great cue tip. I am able to control the cue ball far better than my old elk master. I never realized how big of a difference a layered tip can make.

My new Kamui clear tip seems to have added supple suspension to my tip. Definitely an improvement over my stock Huebler tip.

Every other time over ordered from them it's been good and I like their tips but this last order for a clearblack soft tip came earlier than they said but the tip was slanted, makes me weary of future purchases
