Definitely works, just give it a chance
I was able to use this to change a wired printer into a wireless printer. The setup was simple, but also not. I selected all the right settings, clicked apply, and then it just said "please wait" for 15-20 minutes. I restarted the whole process because it really shouldn't take that long. I got to "please wait" again, and after a few minutes, just decided to print a test page just in case. It worked! It never told me it was successfully set up, but it did set up properly. You may or may not need some black electrical tape because this thing just blinks green and blue at all times, and in a dark room, that can be a bit annoying. I do recommend this, but just be patient with it and give it a test even if it hasn't confirmed that it finalized setup.

Only for experts
It works very well, but the instructions are poor

Unreliable connections
This router will repeatedly drop connections with any devices connected through WiFi. I tested two of these VAP11S units and both yielded the same results. DHCP doesn't always resolve IP addresses either, so a static IP assignment becomes a frustrating requirement. The white enclosure is made of very cheap plastic. There's only one screw hole which is very poorly positioned directly underneath the non-removable USB/Ethernet cables.

Can get the job done
This did exactly what I needed, I had no problems setting it up as an IT professional but I could see this being overwhelming for someone thats not familiar with the terminology. The wizard/GUI is very limited and has only essential features. Additionally, I bought the 5Ghz version and it appears that it ONLY works on 5Ghz and is not compatible with 2.4Ghz networks. It does take about 10 minutes or so to fully boot and establish a connection, i'm using this to monitor solar panels so its not a big deal for me.

Just what I needed
Initially I got this transmitter as a repeater for an outdoor camera. Wanted to run it with a portable powerbank and a 5W solar panel but I realized it is just a bit too power hungry for that usage. I got the little brother of that model for that and am currently using this one as a receiver for my tower gaming PC. Works as expected and was super easy to set up!

Lit Up Like Christmas Lights
Ok, to be fair, I’m using this as a network bridge to connect a raspberry pi which controls my telescope via Ethernet to my Wi-Fi. I was using the rPi wireless but the antenna are pretty weak and even with strong signal at the telescope I was having some dropouts and slow image file transfers. This did make my connection more stable and cut file transfer speeds in half. In astrophotography, darkness is essential. I’ve attached a video here from when I was getting setup for the night. As you can see, this device is a light pollution beast!! I mean seriously, I may put it on top of my tree this Christmas! What you are seeing here is with black tape covering everything I could. I could not cover the vents or ports and the amount of light leaking from this device is like a beacon for ships passing in the night! I asked in questions if these could be disabled in software and the seller replied “Put some black tape over it”. Well, there you go. 3 stars for a decent Wi-Fi bridge, 0 for helpful customer service.

works as advertised, instructions not so great
WiFi Bridge Mode. Requires configuration, which requires a system with wifi. The last step requires the user to reboot the device, and wait for completion. However, the devices drops the connection, so the reboot appears to be incomplete. Fortunately, that is not the case, and all is well. Oh yes.You will need to supply a USB power cord.
