Dissapointed cheap Chinese reproduction marketed as Japanese!
Cheap chinese reproduction, its not Japanese made! The toxic coating will not fully burn off and the remaining coat won't come off easily until you burn and season it for at least 10X! The wooden handle is also very loose!

The size is great but I have seasoned it 2 or 3 times
The size is great but I have seasoned it 2 or 3 times, and everything sticks. If you want to spend all your time reseasoning this, it might be a great wok but this now sits in my basement! I purchased one from williams sonoma at the same time and it is the best wok I have ever used.

Love it! Cooks the best stir fry! update 03/07/2018 I love Japanese kitchen wares, I actually own a lot Japanese woks and pans. Can anyone explain to me why it looks like some paint come off from the wok? I use it almost every day, and season it well, but why it get rusted where this “paint” comes off? Is it suppose to be non coating iron wok?!

Great Wok
Those who are saying it sticks haven't seasoned the wok properly. To season the wok 1. Wash the wok with kitchen cleanser and a scrubber. 2. Place the wok on a gas stove (you can't using anything electric). 3. Set stove to maximum heat, and heat the wok until the black color fades away and turns into light gray. Hold the pan with an oven mitt and tilt the wok so the edges turn to grey too. This is to burn off the anti-rust coating. *Don't heat the handle. 4. After all the cooking surface is all sliver, kill the heat and let it cool. 5. Wash the wok again with kitchen cleanser and a scrubber. 6. Coat the wok with the oil of your choosing (Personally I recommend flaxseed or walnut). 7. Put in a ladle full of oil, then start heating heat with middle heat. 8. Put in some vegetable scraps and a teaspoon of salt, then fry the scraps until they become dark brown. 9. Discard the oil/scraps, then wash with warm water and a vegetable fiber scrubber (recommend tawashi or bamboo wok brushes).
