I'm doing some renovation. I've been shocked and surprised at how often this tool is "just the ticket". I like the automatic setting for oscillating speed. It does automatically speed up as needed. Nice. I have no idea if it is any better than others. Probably not, although I did choose it because it had one of the widest side to side movements. I think that matters, but don't really know. One nit pick: I wish it would stand up, like most of my other battery operated tools. But, that's a small thing. And some might prefer that it can't stand up... less chance of a fall off a counter or something... So, anyway, you have to lay it down on its side. Whatever. You don't need to buy Milwaukee, but if you're a DIY type guy, you will be pleased at how often this tool just saves a lot of time.

Little pricy but this tool has saved me so much money and time around the house on many projects

This is a great multi tool as many reviews have shown, however there seems to be a strange issue with the battery connection. The contacts piece moves making the battery loose within the cradle. I've been told this is the way it was designed. Anyone who understands electrical connections where the contacts are not secure would most likely agree that something like this will sooner or later be a problem in a tool like this. Though I've decided to keep this multi tool, I have also decided to configure a strap to hold the battery still and in place. I'm just disappointed that I should have to do this with a tool that has such a great reputation.
