Taiyaki, Original flavor, Japanese Sweets Wagashi, Traditional Asian Dessert Snacks, Suitable for Afternoon Tea ＆ Daily Snack, 0.6 Ounce (Pack of 2)

From what I gather, this is not Tayaki. It's just inspired by it and called Puku Puku Tai. It's a chocolate filled wafer cookie. There's nothing pancake about it. It has a wafer shell with a crispy chocolate inside. If you've ever had fancy chocolate filled wafer rolls, that's what it tastes like. Though it is softer, like a crisp wafer all the way through (including the chocolate, though that's a bit denser). As far as flavor it's great! :) It's 0.58 oz, 90 calories (10g of sugar) and I can pronounce all the ingredients. I'd say it's really good if you need a chocolate fix and it doesn't fill you up. Little pricey though, so I don't think I'd buy this regularly, maybe as an interesting treat for special occasions. Note: Ignore the California Prop 65 warning, it's useless. Coffee would have the same warning if all the coffee places hadn't gotten legislators to exempt it. Tasty but does not ship well cookies were crumbled.

It was the dust of what it should have been but didn't expect much because of shipping and everything, very tasty product tho.

The price is understandable since I can't get these anywhere around me. They did come broken but that didn't matter to me, or my daughter. They were still cute, smelled like fresh cut Strawberries, and still had that airy crisp. Definitely were fresh. I'll be getting them again.

This is nothing like the Taiyaki I bought in Japan. The chocolate filling is much lighter and drier. Worse, instead of a nice dense batter, the covering is as thin and tasteless as those old cake cones for ice cream. And one of the 2 I ordered came completely crumbled up in little pieces.

These were delicious. I wish the texture had been a little more like actual taiyaki and less freeze dried, but still yummy!

My daughter (11 yrs old) LOVES these. They are one of her favorite snacks.

I didn't like the taste and came in squished and crumbled up. Not worth it.
