Enchroma Glasses - Tilden - Outdoor Vision Enhancement for Deutan & Protan Color Blindness

I bought these as a surprise gift for a friend of mine, and now he can see in color, no joke. It changed his life! Definitely take the chroma quiz and look into the type of color blindness that you need to address. I also looked up that eye doctors can make prescription glasses, and I believe these in chroma‘s can be utilized for prescriptions.

Edit November 26th 2023. I have tried several times to contact customer support about my issue with no response. This company clearly doesn’t care at all about the people that they are supposedly trying to help. My shady rays sunglasses are still in great condition. I would never recommend these to anyone nor buy them again. So far I am very disappointed in these glasses. They work very well in correcting color blindness I believe. Honestly none of us would really know if we're seeing what everyone usually does or just a pinker version of the world. Unfortunately these do cause a pink shade to everything at first since the lenses are very tinted with pink. They do make red pop out alot more and other colors have more red to them which I'm assuming is a good thing sense I have protanopia which strips some of the red tint from the world. The main downfall is the quality of these. I have owned them since July and already one side has broken off. I went to put them on and one of the side just snapped off. Like plastic that had been bent to many times. I would think a pair of $250 glasses would stay together longer then 6 months but these didn't even make it that long. I don't even use them alot more then your average person. Probably the same amount as any average person. I have two pairs of shady rays sunglasses with lifetime warranties that have lasted over 2 years with no scratches and cost a fraction of what these did. Granted they are not color blind correcting but they are sunglasses none the less and built just the same. If a pair of $60 sunglasses can outlast a pair of $250 sunglasses in quality that's just sad. Also as far as I can tell enchroma offers a very limited warranty. Shady rays will give you two free replacements for life. Litterally. Do better enchroma. Just do better.

I have owned a pair for about 10 years. I bought a new pair. The lense are darker which I really like.

Had my boyfriend take the test to find out which ones he needed. Ordered and had the next day. First impression is that they were very "cheap" feeling. Not alot to them. He put them on and didn't really notice much as far as looking out and seeing colors. I had him take the test again without the glasses and he tested the same. Then I had him take the test with the glasses on and he tested the opposite! It kind of reversed his color blindness. Weird. He must be one of those....lol My friends kid had an amazing response so still try it as long as you can return if it doesn't work.

I received a pair of the Protan sunglasses today and they are great. I have Red/Green color blindness with particularly difficulty with red. It kind of looks brownish especially when looking at objects at a distance. These glasses (like regular sunglasses) make everything look slightly dimmer but make greens and reds dramatically pop out and appear very bright. Grass and trees are ultra green while reds (stop signs, red cars, red speedometer needles) appear almost glowing/neon red/orange. It's pretty intense. It reminds me of "Witcher Sight" in Witcher III if you'll permit me a videogame reference. If you have red/green color blindness then I highly recommend giving them a try.

I tried these about 7 years ago and read they may have been improved. They definitely feel better for reds (for me at least) and greens do pop more. As a colorblind person it's really cool to see the differences of what I've been looking to how things may be. It does "fix" the colors it enhances it and provides real clarity and for me it shows the differences between all the colors better.

Glasses seem to work great! It's amazing looking at everyday things and not realizing what they actually look like! It is a bit weird at first. They work best when there is ample lighting! You thought your TV looked good before watch it with these on with plenty of light. It's like a whole new world. I still can't believe how bright and vibrant some everyday items are!

I’m colorblind. These are a joke. They don’t make you see all colors, they dim certain colors. You can’t wear them indoors or at the computer, that’s why you only see them advertised when it’s bright and sunny.

I gave this product to my dad & he was amazed at what they could do

Colours are so vibrant and I can see red instead of brown! They take a few minutes to get used to. My eyes get sore if I wear them on the beach for more than an hour so I find them better for city use and driving

This glases dont do anything but changing the actual colors to other colors that are. Ot correct

My husband is very much color blind. He wear them everyday while driving. He says the trees are beautiful now. Would highly recommend.
