SANDING SPONGE BLK FINE

Excellent pads works great last long.

The flexibility of these sponges allow for a wide field of uses. I initially discovered them in a silver-smithing class for sanding jewelry. They can be used as a whole piece or cut into smaller pieces. As time went by, I found one use after another when traditional sandpaper would have been used. They are the perfect tool when sanding around curved shapes. I was recently refinishing an antique side table with a parquet top. Each piece of parquet had to be sanded individually. Using a small piece of sponge, I was able to easily sand with the grain on each piece. In another instance, by art deco bathtub was starting to feel like it was covered with sand. Not pleasing when sitting in the tub. Using these sandpapers, starting with the roughest, working my way to the finest, I was able to refinish the enamel so that it felt and looked like knew. Since even the roughest sanding sponge is very fine, there was no risk of removing too much enamel. My bootie is thankful every time I bathe.In addition to their usefulness, they last forever. I only replaced my last set because it got to be ugly to look at. But it still did the job.Highly recommended to any craftsperson, wood worker, etc. etc.

No one is worse than me at finishing drywall. But as a landlord I do some repairs. This is great for feathering an edge

As advertised but be aware that if using with a solvent they will dissolve in some solvents.They are pretty light duty in general. Buy the heavier industrial scotch brite pads for heavy work.

Great product for working with metal

I've had these sanding sponges before and after about 3 years I'm finally buying another set. They last long for mild use and have four different grits. Even the Microfine grit is enough to satin a surface or give a slight rub effect. After a long use, simply wash and brush with water and it helps keep the sanding sponges healthy. I've cut the sponges with scissors to rectangles for my preference.

These are great for sanding anything from metal to wood. They come as pretty good size pad that I cut down to my needs.
