Sharp, well made, works perfect with the additional knife tip

this is a handy knife for paing out a sole abscess , mine wasn't very sharp and took a little work to get it really sharp but is effective after that

Product is good for the price point. The steel fills up fairly quick. Good beginner blade if you are starting to get into hoof work.

Nice package and knife! It’s perfect for my personal use on just one horse. Keeps its blade and doesn’t dull fast. I was surprised at the quality for the money.

Sharp little good knife

i absolutely love this loop knife! i did need to sharpen it when i first got it. but it handles great and is well made. the pick on the back doubles as a hoof pick so it’s been nice to consolidate tools.

Sturdy knife. The point was too long for my apron pocket so i took it down a bit. It didn't have a usable edge out of the box. Took some work but finally got nice edge on it. Definitely have to keep it touched up.

This hoof knife is about as sharp as a table knife (NOT even a steak knife.)It should be *razor* sharp to use it reasonably, and prevent injury to the user.Do not expect to use this out of the box...it will require a *lot* of work with a diamond sharpener (if you don't decide to just return it.)
