I have been working for years trying to make my home 'smart' and lights seemed like a good entry point. If you have ever looked at swapping out all of your bulbs for a smart system, you know that the choices and decisions can be quite daunting. For the money, the Wiz line of products is very hard to beat. The price is way better than Hue, and the performance is much better than some of the other brands, especially when looking for multi-colored bulbs. Pros: * Cost - these things are relatively cheap * No base station - there is none required. That is a huge benefit, as it reduces the overall cost * Lots of colors - Playing with the colors and creating various scenes is really fun. * The app is easy to use - the app is pretty easy to use, once you figure out some of its quirks. If you are someone who give up when something doesn't work exactly like you think it should on your first attempt, you might want to reconsider this purchase (or any sort of smart home purchases until the tech matures a bit further, to be honest). Making groups and setting up your various rooms is really easy. Even controlling lights in groups within each room is as easy as drag and drop Things I wish were better: * Rhythms - While Rhythms are a cool idea, it just really doesn't work like I think it should. It gets confused if a switch is inadvertently turned off during a rhythm, and then starts over. It can be a bit of a pain to remove a rhythm if you have any sort of network issue * 2.4Ghz only - I know that this is extremely common for most smart devices these days, but these will only work on a 2.4Ghz wifi band. This can become aggravating when you have a multi-band wifi where all of the networks share a name. Getting your devices to all talk to the 2.4 band can be challenging. It's not impossible, but it may be a frustrating experience for some. Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend this brand to anyone who wants to incorporate smart light bulbs into their home but doesn't want to break the bank at the same time.

I have 6 of these bulbs. They were practically unusable with the 1st version of their Android App. It was clunky and painful to setup each bulb. In fact, so much so that I just put them in a box and didn't even bother again. One day I got an update to the app, so I pulled them out and re-tried them. HUGE difference. Complete re-design of the app and well worth their effort. Smoother setup, logical layouts, more features. I have over 100 IOT smarthome devices and these are perfect for my Airbnb as they are independent and don't require any kind of hub; just WiFi. They also work with Home Assistant (not just Alexa/Google/etc.)

I love that these lights dont need a base station to run, just screw it in and connect them up! Easy to program with the WIZ app and was simple to connect them to Alexa for voice control. They can be a bit tricky to connect, be sure to be on a wifi that is 2.5GHz rather than the standard 5GHz that most routers are setup with. It is also great to use in areas where multiple lights are connected to one power switch such as a ceiling fan or bar lights as you can name them separately and turn them on individually instead of all at once I love the various dynamic modes to set any mood , the color range is great and once you have them named or set in a room Alexa can turn them on and off by name or by room which is super helpful in the middle of the night when you realize you left the downstairs lights on! Great value for the money, I now have them in every room in my house!

They are great for my needs. I really like them. You CAN use them with HomeKit but it only has limited features the wiz app is better and you can make shortcuts to facilitate uses. The brightness is great it’s 800 lumens and colors are really nice.

Worked great for a few months but now they are constant problems. The app almost always now says that the "device is offline". Which means you can't use the app to control the bulb. This includes adjusting the brightness. So when the light does come on, it's often on the default setting at the dimmest brightness setting. Ive also had issues with the app reconnecting and turning the lights on at random times throughout the day or night. The only advice support was to try manually reset each time by physically turning the light off and on again until the app recognizes it. That sometimes works, but it defeats the purpose of an app controlled bulb if I have to spend several minutes turning the light on and off again every single time I want to turn on the light. It also makes it so that the timer/ automation feature doesnt work at all, and that feature was the main reason I got these. The problems started when it's too late to return them, so I'll just have to toss them and either try another brand or return to normal bulbs.

Love these bulbs!! I have bought several of them. I have so much fun with them. I can change the color. Create my own color. Schedule times for my lights to turn on and off. They work great with my Alexa with voice control. So easy to hook up. Worth it buy these bulbs

Great app, lots of features, and the lights were good when they worked. Unfortunately, 5 out of 8 bulbs failed within a year. Disappointing reliability. 3 stars

Buenísimos, tengo más de 4 años con ellos y siguen funcionando perfecto.

Llegó a tiempo y el foco es fácil de instalar aunque no trae un instructivo como tal, puedes buscar instrucciones en Google o en YouTube y es muy sencillo conectarlo con Alexa

Muy buen producto, se conecta de forma eficiente con Alexa aún en redes wifi 5GHz, tuve un inconveniente por primera vez por qué llegó mal el foco, solicite devolución por otro foco y sin ningún problema

Es un buen foco, tiene muchos colores, modos, ilumina bien y responde rápido. He tenido varios focos de esta marca, solo hemos tenido dos problemas: el cambio a la nueva app y configuración después de cambiar la red fue muy enredoso y solo uno de los focos dejó de funcionar correctamente después de unos días de apagones, ahora incluyen una función en la app para evitar esto.

La verdad duran un buen de tiempo, y si funciones son geniales.
