Perfect for leg length issue
Best heal lift i have found yet for leg length issue. A small piece of two sided tape holds it in place.

It saves me the pain and I no longer appear crooked on photos
When I was having severe problems with my back (lumbalgia) I had a battery of exams made. From it the orthepedist doctor told me that my right leg was slightly shorter from the pelvis down (about half a centimeter). That certainly explained a lot of things (including why I always appared crooked on photos)a and all my back problems.Following the suggestion of the orthopedist I searched for something to do the job and found this product. It comes with two sets so I have one that I move from shoe to shoe, the other is permanently installed in my Skeechers BIonic which have the nice feature of having a sole that you can remove, so for my running shoes I have the 2nd heel lift permanently installed in between the main sole and the extra sole so it is not noticeable. It surely helps and I have not too much problems now that I walked balanced with my marginally short right leg.I have had it for a couple of years and they are still going good. I suppose that at some point the different layers may not stick to each other so I don't know how to overcome that when it happens. Now, I love sandals/flip-flops and own several pairs (Texa, Reef, Havaianna) because I usually wear sandals if not at work. In this case there is no way to attach the heel lift to a sandal without it falling off. Perhaps something somebody can design and produce.

Strong, but they flatten a bit
I need about a 1/2" lift on one leg. I've been through many lifts, and I went through a few pairs of the Warwicks, which are great when you first get them. But over time they definitely lose height. Most recently I got two pairs of these, and put them in my favorite boots that I own in brown and black. I use a Velcro sticky square to keep them in place.I like them a lot, but they definitely do soften up a bit from your body heat as well as your body weight. They therefore mold to your heel, and in the process lose a bit of height. Not as much as the Warwicks, though. WIth my first pair of these I quickly removed the top layer because they just seemed to high. I tested them a few days, and after I realized the slight height loss, I didn't remove a layer when I put the second pair in my other pair of boots.I won't return these, but I need a lift that keeps its height. There's another on Amazon (three for $18 or so), that I guess I'll bite the bullet and try them.

Great lifts!
I purchased some several years ago for my leg length discrepancy that I am still using and needed more for other shoes. They are firm so they give the true height needed, yet they are comfortable. They can go under the inner soles in some shoes, and are comfortable even when put on top of the inner soles. Some of these lifts I have I can move from one shoe to another. However, they do shape to the inside of the shoes that have bigger contours, so those are trickier to switch. I also have had luck with putting them on flat flip flops as well as some sandals with no backs. There are adhesives that come with the lifts, but when those wore out or weren't enough to stick to the lift, I used double sided clear tape. A few times one or more of the adjustable sections came off (mostly coz I was removing the lift from a shoe), and I was able to successfully reattach the sections with super-tpye glue (but don't use too much). All in all theses lifts are great and long lasting.

Good But Not The Greatest
As I just spent the last 2 years walking a pair of these off, to the point of destruction, I feel competent to give a fair minded review. First, they do work...They more than make up for the shortness in one leg that I have to contend with. Second, they are well made and tough. Forget those spongy lifts that will feel great at first but compress over time. I need firm support to avoid stressing my Left hip by compensating for my shortened leg when walking. These put me on an even keel with every stride and eliminates my hip pain completely.I'm agnostic on the benefits of these lifts being adjustable. Personally, I'd much rather have a solid one piece support that comes in the 3/8 to 5/8 inch (ideal) size that I need. Perhaps they should expand their line of products by offering solid lifts in a variety of sizes. The problem with these multi-layer adjustable supports is the layers can start to shift by themselves over time. It may take a while but it will eventually happen. It does make me wonder if I wouldn't be better off planing a piece of hard wood or plastic to achieve the same end for a lifetime lift that would never wear out. And a solid lift would be much easier to clean between shoes.A solid lift would also minimize the mold that tends to form between the layers after months and months of being exposed to your living, breathing and sweating feet all day. Even placed under a foot pad, these lifts will eventually funk up on you. And if, like me, you care to remove them for use in other shoes, these multiple layers will start to loose their natural adhesion and tackiness. Which is another reason they'll start shifting on you over time.Hence, my rather mediocre rating. Yes, they do work. They feel great when new. And they gave me 2 years of faithful service before giving out.Maybe expecting a lifetime of service is asking too much. But it wouldn't be a great chore for this company to fuse these layers into a solid form and they jolly well would last a lifetime. Or a decade or more.. I'd pay extra for that kind of dependability. And of course, the sheer utility of being able to use them in a variety of shoes in my closet in a pinch would be a great improvement.
