Have a cat with asthma? This might work.
I don't have any affliction that would call for this product, however, my cat does. She has bronchial asthma, which my vet believes is environmentally-caused. For the past two years, my cat has been given depo-medrol shots for her condition; shots that I've been told would likely lead to diabetes and ultimately, heart failure. It seems my cat's only options were to stop breathing entirely or die of heart failure from treatment. Pretty grim. To be clear, I've brought this cat to four different vets seeking alternative treatment methods (not including late night trips to the emergency clinic when she'd have brutal asthma attacks) and they all seem to agree on her initial diagnosis of asthma and the treatment of depo-medrol. Recently, her latest vet suggested that I try this product in lieu of the depo-medrol shot as it's a much less severe steroid. I'm pleasantly surprised to say this actually works. THIS ACTUALLY WORKS! At first, I would make efforts to be sure the spray landed precisely in her nose but it's become second nature to me now. I just hold the scruff of her neck with one hand and spray near her nose with the other. It works just as well as immobilizing her completely, especially since she seems to have learned it helps her condition and she doesn't struggle as much. NOTE: results are not immediate. It takes 20-30 minutes for my cat's breathing to return to normal. Relief lasts anywhere from 6-24 hours. I've only had to use this unit once since I bought it last month. Albuterol sulfate couldn't do for my cat what this product does: provide long-term relief from feline asthma. UPDATE 02/16/18: It's been 13 months since my cat's last depo-medrol shot. Before Flonase, she required a shot every six to eight months. The Flonase has been needed about six times in the past six months and it has never failed to clear up her attacks. UPDATE 05/27/20: I woke up early this morning to find my cat having a full-blown asthmatic episode. Twenty minutes after a spray of Flonase Sensimist to her face, her breathing returned to normal, as though the event never happened. So this will be my last update on this because I believe I've made my point. I just wanted to chime in one more time to express my gratitude for this product. If not for that one squirt of Flonase, I would have been frantically driving my traumatized cat to the emergency vet at 4am, resulting in horror, stress and vet fees well into the hundreds.

Makes allergies managable.
Without this stuff, going outside can be miserable. Constant sneezing and itchy eyes. Use this in the morning and I’m good to go!

See Ya' Migraines!
I used to get migraines 2 - 4 times per month. Never did I think it was allergy related because I have a host of skeletal issues going on and those were the more likely culprits what with pinched nerves and all. I've been using Flonase for 3 months now and the only migraine I've had was due to a hangover (because sometimes I'm dumb). PS: Do not drink too much the night before you have to fly - even if those Cosmo-tinis are delicious - just don't do it! Altitude + migraine = torture, and it's not as though a flight is something that can be skipped. I digress. I switched to regular Flonase because it is less expensive than the Sensimist; however, after about 3 weeks' usage I found it to be irritating my nasal lining. From what I've read, the main difference is the main ingredient, a gentler spray from Sensimist, and the lack of alcohol (a highly drying ingredient) and one other ingredient I forget the name of in the Sensimist. I can see how the alcohol may help those with runny noses but I'll just use extra tissues (if I can find them amongst this ridiculous time in history where paper goods are suddenly highly coveted and limited to 1 per household). Flonase's web site doesn't say so, but walrus dot com says, "Flonase contains fluticasone propionate while Flonase Sensimist contains fluticasone furoate." drugs dot com agrees with that difference. I say for the price of $20 if you're experiencing discomfort from allergies, give this a whirl. In my particular case it was $20 well spent as I was losing 2 - 4 days of work each month and I work for myself so when I'm out absolutely Nothing gets done and the work piles up. It's never fun coming off a migraine into a mountain of work. Two little squirts up each nostril each morning is all it takes to stave off these migraines. I forgot to use it one morning and man-oh-man could I feel the pressure built up the following day. I was quite surprised the Flonase was doing that much to keep my head pain at bay. For me this is no snake oil, it's a heavy lifter in alleviating great discomfort from my life. Now it's a matter of limiting myself to 2 Cosmo-tinis (or whatever else) on those nights I decide to live a little.
