Defective and HOT!
Some annoying ticking sound comes from charger. In the descriptions of the shipping docs seller mentioned it as a heater and he was right - the batteries are very hot even after 5 minutes of charging. Sounds (tick tock, tick tock) + high temperature... what is the next action: batteries explosion? Take this charger back!

I bought this as my headlamp uses three AAA batteries, and it was a real pain to try match pairs of roughly the same charge to use with my old charger. But now I don't have to worry, as this charger charges batteries individually, which make for effortless use. I also love the simplicity of the charging light system, as it means I don't need to keep instructions around to reference what each colour and flash means. Although the plug is an EU standard, the figure 8 cord means I can easily replace it with an AU standard one, which will save me from having to use my travel adapter all the time.

Does it's job & doesn't drain batteries until they're not recognisable by the charger like some i've had.
